If you want a boutique, luxury hotel The Saracens Head is not for you and you are not for the Saracens Head. If you want an authentic 'staying at an inn' experience with good food, a wide selection of ales and ciders and friendly courteous staff then you won't find better. Wonderful greeting upon a very late arrival. Rooms are wonderful. Electric hookup very convenient.

Lots of character, authentic, old inn (original part built circa 1690) set in beautiful countryside. Some parking on site at rear, but one evening we had to park on the roadside. (It is a quiet road so OK.) There is a nice seating area in a garden in front of the Inn. Nice ambiance overall. Staff are very friendly. Evening meal and breakfast were good. The double room we stayed in was sufficiently quiet and of an acceptable size. Would definitely consider staying again if in the area.

The size and comfort of the beds. Nice bed linen. Staff very friendly and helpful, particularly the staff at breakfast. In the morning you need people who are of a happy personality to get you through the day. (well I do!) To get breakfast (buffet style) included in the price is extremely good. Thank you.

Love this place. The village is beautiful and full of Cotswolds charm, whilst the pub is an absolute delight for foodies. Tremendous value given the quality of the accommodation and the food. Our room was luxurious and spacious. Loved the 100 Acres toiletries, the farmhouse-style breakfast and the super-comfortable bed. This is a great base from which to explore the Cotswolds.

I stay here regularly for work, alway very good. Staff are incredibly nice and work hard to make the stay comfortable. Rooms are always clean characterful and comfortable. food is great. Would highly recommend.

We really enjoyed our brief stay.Such charming staff. My only question would be,please keep fresh milk in the room fridge,for tea in the morning. We would like to come back to stay in one of the thank4 bed lodges,overlooking the lake,next time.

This rambling old place has a lot of character, and some eccentricities. I have stayed here several times and never had a reason to complain. I am an elderly woman travelling alone and would not keep coming back if my rooms were not clean and very comfortable. The staff are always friendly and most helpful. There is only limited parking but as yet I've had no problem - I understand that there is a public car park nearby, and also roadside parking is not difficult. A glass of wine beside the open...

Good sized room, nice quiet area but good location to visit a few of the other nice towns and villages
