Carrying luggage up and down was very challenging particularly as Torquay is not the kind of resort that attracts younger guests. Street parking is a lottery with not sufficient spaces for the large number of apartments. "This is a very clean home that had what we needed during our holiday. Naveed was very easy to deal with and had great communication. It’s worth noting that this is a flat upstairs from a convenient store and mechanic shop. We were fine with it, but it does add a level of noise to being in the flat and/or having your windows open. "

"Very basic accommodation in need of a complete redecoration/refit. Upstairs bathroom shower waste was blocked caused a small flood. Flat above an off licence, in a dreary street. OK for one night if passing though."

"We have stayed at Astor house before so we came back to the same apartment. They had upgraded the sofas to recliners which was a nice surprise. The apartment itself is easy to get to clean and Torquay town centre is a short walk away. It has a great view over the beach side of Torquay and the area is quiet. The place is clean and well maintained and the host kindly provided some biscuits and milk. I would highly recommend this place."

"From the moment you arrive you are greeted by Adam, who makes you feel so very welcome. It’s like coming home. The apartment is absolutely spotless, and very well kitted out for all you could ever need. The beds are very comfortable, so is the lounge furniture.
