"Really nice break, brilliantly equipped cottage with a nice private garden at back. We were left a cream tea on arrival. Walked to the local pub and had a fantastic meal one night. (Golden Lion). Nice walk into Ottery St Mary the other day, Sidmouth 6mile away which is a lovely town. Would recommend and we will go again."

"Great property and value for money , communication with the host was great and they helped us when our vehicle broke down. Only fault we could find was the top floor ceiling was very low and a bit of a problem for the adults. maybe a note in the initial booking form to explain this would be a good idea. Other than that PERFECT."

"Cannot fault this lovely property right on the banks of the river! We stayed a week at the Nest. It is more spacious than it appears. It is beautifully appointed with stylish decor and a sumptuously comfortable bed. There is a good size lounge and dining area with log fire, to cosy up and read a book. Our Grandsons had a wonderful time on the farm 🚜 we had a tour, bringing the cows in from the field , to watching them being milked, then to feed two new baby calves , and to end it with a tractor 🚜 ride 😀. The accommodation is very clean, and the boys loved living upside down lol 😆. The countryside is beyond words, stunning . I would recommend this 100% we shall definitely go again. Thankyou"

"Homestead was clean tidy and comfortable, and was well equipped with everything you need for a self catering holiday. Definitely recommend. A very short walk into Lyme Regis with all its independent shops, cafes etc. The Town Mill and Lyme Regis Museum are well worth visiting. One thing to note, the parking at Homestead is tight as is mentioned in the description so take care."

The hosts, Isobel and William were incredible and very accommodating of our children who wanted to run around a lot in the gardens and in the river too as well as any anything we needed during our stay too. "We had a fab week stay in the cottage. Communication with Charlotte was fantastic, easy instructions in the manual on how everything worked. The cottage is cosy and had everything we needed. Surroundings are great and the kids had so much fun on the rope swings and zip wire. Location was good, the local village is lovely. We ventured into Lyme Regis, West Bay, Golden Cap and lulworth. "We were in Yeovil for a few days to visit the Fleet Air Arm Museum and Haynes Motor Museum. It had everything we needed for a self catering stay but was also close to shops and some restaurants. It was just like the photos and felt quite indulgent. I'd happily go back there."

"Amazing house for a short weekend away with friends. We came for Easter weekend with a large group of 19 people. We ordered pizzas from the local pizza restaurant under David’s recommendation which made cooking easier and were great pizzas that arrived nice and hot. We did spot a mouse in one of the rooms however but as people who live in the rural countryside ourselves, it’s expected in these types of properties.
