Perfect hotel and accommodations. I had my bike with me for a Saturday morning ride (Pedaling the Prairie). At check-in staff was able to put me in a ground floor room. Plenty of fast food options nearby. Will definitely stay here next time I need a Hempstead hotel.

The walkup check-in window is out-doors---not good when checking in at night--especially for women. Need walk-in lobby to check in/register. The room was clean. However the bed was extremely hard and lumpy feeling the springs. Pillows were flat flat flat. Constantly heard walking from second floor and thumping noise from ceiling and walls. Other than the bed and constant noise (thin walls/ceiling), I'll book again but will bring my personal head and body pillows for sleeping plus earplugs. Staff very pleasant and efficient with check-in and check-out.

Yes for the price
I had read some reviews saying there were bugs so I truly looked for them. None found. Room was mostly clean. Staff was kind. Price was great. Bed was ok. Walls are thin. Overall not bad. Be prepared for the weather at check-in you are outside.

My room had insects- cockroaches, beetles, and spiders behind doors and furniture. There was also a dried up piece of fruit near the tv when I walked in. Couldn’t tell if it was a plum or a shriveled olive.

Nice, one improvement.
Very nice. Better than I expected. Only thing I think that could be better is the hospitality not saying it was bad but I could improve. Respectfully. Be more welcoming more up lifting, but other than that it was great.

Overall, the hotel was clean. It had been remodeled. There was no toilet paper. The major issues were: 1) The office was kept locked for COVID still and they made you use the window. 2) Their WiFi internet was nonfunctional and they couldn't do anything.

Terrible hotel. Advertised a pool that was filthy and damaged. No office had to stand in 105 degree heat to fill out paperwork.

Great Staff
Staff was absolutely great. The facilities are old and the jets in the room tub were an orange mold. When we explained we were just not interested in staying after seeing the jacuzzi jets, we were offered other options but were accommodated nicely with our refund without making us feel bad for our decision to not stay there. Give this place a chance, like I said, the staff was doing everything they could to make it a pleasant stay, we just chose to drive closer to home that night instead of waiting.

The door lock did not work. We had to go to the lobby, which was a bell you rang and the individual came to the window were you stood outside. Then they had to come and unlock the room door. The room was dated and the nightstand was broken. It had an unfunctional refrigerator left in the room. In general it made me feel a little unsettled and insecure.

The floors were dirty, the pillows still had makeup on them, pink lipstick and tan skin tone foundation, streaks of black on the others and it couldn't be seen but nearly clear stains. The counters where dusty and the shower heads had calcium buildup, not cleaned. The water smells like pools water which is just piss and chemicals. The staff are nice but the rooms are gross. No bugs, no bedbugs but we were so paranoid we slept above the sheets. Overall a terrible experience I would not want to repeat.

I find it utterly ridiculous that the lobby is closed due to COVID-19. In my honest opinion it says the owners do not want to serve their customers on a personal level. It also tells me that they are cheap. Also it was a little irritating that when I checked in I had to give my credit card again, even though I had paid for my reservation online. It was also irritating how long it took to check in.

Room wasnt cleaned well, and we found several roaches within the room. Stains on every piece of fabric. The people were nice and it was affordable, but at the end of the day i couldnt help but to ask if it was worth the gross environment.

10/22 - 10/23 The main office was closed to the public “due to covid” so we had to check in through a little window. The woman who checked us in seemed like we were a inconvenience to here just by being there. We asked her if there was breakfast since it said there was online and she just pointed to the office closed sign and said “no”. We got our keys and went to go unload our items into our room. The room didn’t look or smell bad until we started opening drawers and discovered at least 30 cockroaches combined so that was gross and off putting. If there would’ve been another hotel nearby we would’ve stayed there instead but this was a last minute booking. Overall, do NOT stay here unless you’re fine with having roaches for roommates.

My air did not work the entire weekend and it was super hot. I called to complain and all he suggested was to reset the plug which did absolutely nothing. There was also a horrible smell when we got in the room. I'm glad we had air freshener.

Management was rude, kept my security deposit which was cash, they didn't tell me I was going to need a deposit when I booked the hotel,I left my room better than the way that I got it. He was pushing me off that he would credit it back to me on my credit card and that he wasn't understanding what I was saying and told me basically to leave.There was urine in the toilet when I got there.The office was just unhelpful and rude

Hotel is in need of many updates! Furniture is very scratched up and stained. There was a very big stain on headboard of the bed in the room I stayed. Bathroom was in desperate need of new grouting/caulking around bathtub. There was also no coffee in room, even though there was a coffee maker. Had to call the front desk and then had to go get it myself. No staff offered to bring it to the room. I got to this hotel later than I usually check-in to places. I guess still due to covid precautions, I could not go inside to check-in. Had to check-in through window in drive through area of front of hotel...it was a very "cold" experience overall. Didn't do my homework and look at reviews, like I usually do before I book a hotel. Guess I got what I paid for. Thankfully, it was just a one night stay and I will remember it for the next time I am in that area to avoid it.

Attendant kept asking if I really needed 2 beds. I assured him that I did, but he still asked again. Room key was deactivated the second day, so I had to get with the attendant to fix the issue. Stains on sheets and shower curtain. Baby roaches in microwave. Small roach scurrying around on floor. Would not stay again.
