Room was dated. Bed covers had some sort of old make up stain. Same with one of the towels. Wife found fake eyelashes in one of the bedside drawers. Hotel was in a nice location. Great pub across the road

Staff were very good, facilities in the room were good - the environment lovely with the WsterMill and the stream - good bed - good black out curtains - welcome water / enough tea for morning and evening - breakfast plentiful - but to tinned fruit - rather than fresh - not very inviting croissants - did not have cooked breakfast - we would stay again - pleasant modern design - welcoming staff!!!

A pleasant stay in a lovely big room. Very clean in room and comfortable. The communual are looked tatty, particularly the brown carpet which needs replacing. Breakfast was ok but a bit cold.

The breakfast wasnt great but the staff were friendly. The air conditioning was working but i felt the room was a bit cold for my liking but the staff did turn on the heating but if just wasn't hot enough for me. However both the room & its surroundings were beautiful!

Lovely overnight stay

We had a lovely overnight stay. We loved how this hotel is built around an old water mill and how you are right by the overflow canal off the main canal. The staff were all extremely friendly.

Arrived late in the evening and found there still to be parking available - and the parking area felt very safe. Once checked in the hotel staff showed us to our room and explained where everything was in the room and where and when breakfast was served. The room was slightly dated but clean and there was tea/coffee and biscuits in the room. Staff were all lovely and we enjoyed our stay.

We were greeted with a very warm welcome to the hotel. Check in took a matter of minutesm we were then shown to our room. Which was very spacious with a large bathroom.it may have been a little dated, but it added to uts charm we also had the watermill directly outside our room... Breakfast was included and made to order and they also catered for our dietary requirements.
