This luxury cabin known as 'White Rapids Retreat' is located on the Buck Shoals gorgeous wide stretch of the Chattahoochee River near Helen, and is anything but ordinary. Relax and sleep to the sounds of the rushing river rapids just 50 feet from the cabin and enjoy the panoramic open views of the river while soaking in the hot tub. Complimentary Kayaks are included so you can enjoy some river adventure! This unique section of the river directly behind the cabin is your own private water amusement park: enjoy swimming, sunning and relaxing on the sandbar in the middle of the river, tubing / kayaking / rafting from behind the cabin, playing on the natural rock waterslides, and exploring the rock shoals of the river. The fishing is excellent behind the cabin for shoal bass, striped bass, catfish, and bream. The kids will love exploring & playing on the property, like we used to do when we were kids(no phones or video games needed). Your stress will melt away as you catnap on the riverside screened porch. The screened porch overlooks the river and has satellite TV so Dad won't miss any of the football game. We brought our family for our son’s 16th bday and 2 of his friends. The views were breathtaking!!! Wishes we could have stayed longer. Everything was perfect! Everyone stayed busy in the river, fishing, kayaking, hot tub and painted rocks to add to the collection. We ended every night with a fire by the water. 10/10\. ##### Bria L. This has become our favorite getaway! We have stayed here twice, and we are already talking about when we can stay again. Beautiful water front and great swimming hole. Plenty of space and amenities. There were tubes already aired up to be used and kayaks were available. ##### Anthony G. We stayed with our family of 5\. Little kids had a blast. The hot tub was a highlight and the fire pit for smores really made it magical. The cabin is extra cozy with a wood burning fireplace. It was a very comfortable stay. We would love to come back in the warmer months and get in the river. I can’t imagine a better property on the river.
