Quick visit to Helen
We had made very last minute arrangements to go to Helen for a couple of days and we found this cabin. The place was very well kept and the percect size for the 2 of us (myself and my 15 yr old son). He also allows for a dog which made this even better...she loved it too. This is just down from the main street and very walkable to everytbing, but the hill back to the cabin sucks after a day of walking. We drove in the next day and just paid $10 for parking. I would absolutely rent this cabin again.

Excellent little Cabin
This was a great cozy little cabin for our family of four and our dogs. We had an amazing trip, the location was within walking distance to all the fun in town, but far enough away you felt relaxed at the cabin at night. We loved the fire pit, and the house was clean and exactly what you see online.

When we arrived there was a strong smell of polyurethane as if the cabin had been recently painted/stained. All windows were cracked open and fans were on. You got used to the smell, but it was strong each time we came in. Also it does get very hot in the loft, although I’m not sure there is much if anything that can’t be done about that. We left the heat off and ran the fans for most of the stay to keep the upstairs comfortable. All in all we would stay here again. There was plenty of room and it was a very comfortable stay.

Beautiful cabin and view and great location.
The deck and amenities were so appreciated and the hot tub was a winner. Easy in and out and great communication with owner. We will be back for sure. Such a cute town with such great energy and positive people.

Very Quaint
This was our first time to Helen and I’d definitely say I’ll be coming back. The cabin is very well situated in the heart of Helen but yet away from any loudness or craziness. It is very cozy and comfortable. Dave was very attentive to any and all messages I’d send and prompt to respond. Thank you Dave for sharing this quaint and cozy cabin. Blessings

Beautiful Cabin - Great Location!
This was my second year visiting Helen and Dave’s Cabin elevated the experience. We loved the location and how it was walking distance to everything. The hot tub was a great addition as well. We would love to return!

We absolutely loved our stay at the cabin. Short walk into town and this cabin is perfect. Rustic, cosy, with a wonderful wrap around porch and awesome hot tub and gas grill. We will definitely come back!

More convenient than you think!
Great location, we actually walked back from Dottie’s Kitchen and the tubing terminals and it wasn’t too bad (very steep hill at cabin road). With regard to the cabin, we actually liked the small details like the interior doors with the old country latches. Also, appreciated the separate A/C units that you can truly customize comfort in the different zones. Finally, our favorite amenity is the very large wrap-around patio with hot tub with privacy wall, as this is among a cluster of other cabins on that hill, but plenty of forestry to still enjoy the experience. We would definitely stay here again. Kudos to the owners for gracious amenities, chat responsiveness, and ease of stay. Thanks!

Convenient location and clean stay
We had a great time there. We spent most of our time hiking and doing tourist stuff , but was nice to come back to the hot tub at night. Place was clean and convenient to town. Everything we needed was there.

Cute cabin with almost everything you need (a Keurig would have been great too) only complaint would be that not really as close to town as I would have preferred- not walking distance really though it sounds like it would be. Also the AC units are noisey so takes away from relaxing on porch and makes sleeping difficult if you aren’t used to the constant noise. Hot Tub could use a scrubbing too. Otherwise cute place - worth the price.

Cute and clean cabin in the Woods.
Very clean, looked just like the pictures. Check in email was very clear so we knew to bring extra tp and towels. Clear instructions were provided on how to run the thermostat, home etc. The bathroom showerhead is the only thing i would say wasnt ideal but another review mentioned as well so i wasnt surprised. Nice location, walking distance to tubing & mountain coaster and some shops. Would definitely stay again. Wish we would've planned for one extra night.

The cabin was very nice and well equipped. The coffee maker and oven were not clean and some of the linens needed replacing. The location was good, but a fairly good walk to the main downtown area. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Great Cozy Cabin Walking Distance to Helen!
Beautiful cozy cabin with everything you need! Love that they accept dogs, and they even have a little trash can outside for the dog poop! You can walk to pretty much any place in downtown Helen within 20 minutes. Hot tub was really nice! Place was clean and quiet. I would stay here again!
