"It was full of residents that were using the place as a hostel. There was empty beer bottles and cans around the tables in front of reception and the whole experience was like staying in a migrant camp. It felt threatening and totally unsafe. Add to that a filthy toilet bowl and I would never go near this place again if you paid me"

"We got there just after 6pm. The place was open but there is no reception, nor was anyone there to greet us and no phone number to call. Fortunately there was a couple of guys staying there who were able to call someone who let us into our room. "Fantastic stopover before getting the ferry home (just an hour from Dunkirk) Four to a room was a little cosy but the pull out double sofa bed (actually two single beds) was brilliant for the children. Lovely breakfast, super clean rooms, just over the road from a huge mall where we ate dinner. Didn’t use the pool but looked inviting. Very helpful staff. Nice touches like free water refills (still and sparkling) TV that you can cast from phone (we watched a movie from our Disney plus subscription) "
