"Lovely hotel in high victorian/Edward inn style. It was very busy because it was the Great Yorkshire Show week. The staff were very friendly in the bar but the reception staff seemed a bit pushed with how busy it was."

"Overall a lovely stay. Our room was large, clean & comfortable with a balcony overlooking the front garden area. Good to have a fridge in the hot weather. We also appreciated the USB ports & other amenities. Comfortable armchairs & a comfotable bed, although the bedding was a little excessive for the hot weather - easy to remove the top layer though. The lovely bathroom was also a good size with a seperate bath & shower. Our only frustration was the early morning traffic noise - we had to open the windows/balcony door overnight as we stayed during the July heatwave. We did not have breakfast, but did enjoy a good & reasonably priced dinner in the pub dining room - the lemon cheesecake was particularly delicious. We did have a small issue of being charged twice for the room, but a phone call to the inn soon rectified that."

"The main parts of the hotel were very well presented and the dining facilities were beautiful. The bedroom was a little tired and didn’t match expectations from the photos online. The view from the room was very good and the room was fine but it had no wow factor as other Hilton’s have had when we have stayed there. The bathroom was fine but windows and floors felt a bit tired. Disappointing to see that even the 2 bottles of water in the room were not free unless you were a Hilton member. All the little niceties of staying in a hotel have now gone and it now feels like only the basics. Food was amazing and staff were all really friendly and helpful. Cannot fault the restaurant or staff (apart from the automatic service charge which was added to the bill and was around 15%!) we would have tipped anyway but this felt sneaky and rude on the part of the hotel (not the individual staff)."

"Well placed for Harrogate city centre and multi Storey at the back which is very useful. Staff friendly, food excellent. Had a dinner and breakfasts for our 4 night stay. They’ve furnished the restaurant with high quality stuff and the food meets that standard well. Not that expensive. The man who manages breaky has plenty of character which we like, got on well with him and he added to the experience. Nice guy. Reception are lovely, bar staff too. Will return to stay here well worth it."

"The bed was quite comfortable and the duvet cover very soft. I didn't expect much as it was on the cheaper side but was positively surprised. I also like how chilled they are about check in and check out. Overall I can recommend"
Cedar Court Harrogate

"Lovely stay at the Cedar Court. I’ve been quite a few times before but not since it’s had a bit of a refresh. They’ve done a really good job with it and the rooms now feel much more modern. It would have been nice to a few little extras in the room such as a vanity kit etc. that said the shower products are now the White Company which I love, sadly the shower gel was empty in our room and I didn’t realise until I was in the shower. The bed was very comfortable and the curtains keep out the light well."
