Loved the historic charm about this hotel. The staff were very helpful especially Anna at reception. The car parking spaces are limited and I would have liked to have been able to reserve a space as my son is relies on medication and the lots of medication equipment. The hotel did let us unload everything ...
First rate position in the town, excellent room. Two downsides, having to pay £12 for overnight parking, and although the bed was very comfortable, the one pillow provided was most uncomfortable!
Beautiful building but as you would expect creaky floors which did mean being woken early by people above
I booked a twin room to stay the night before my son went into the army. The staff were lovely and the rooms were clean and cosy. There was a good choice of continental breakfast. The views were beautiful and was lovely seeing all the horses. Will definitely be back
The room was lovely and clean, we were there for a wedding and the service and food was excellent, breakfast was lovely and hot with a good choice of menu
The dining room requires a lighting update ,It is dismal at night and a little careful alteration would make all the difference
A very nice stone building with a park across the road in a very busy area in town. The motel we stayed at was not the photo but the next building next door. Had to pay 12 pound to park in addition of the cost which they should state.
