We had a balcony on the front of the hotel. The breakfast is top-notch and the breakfast room has a view of West Lake. The hotel is relatively secluded but in a perfect location by West Lake. The Shangri-la Hangzhou, overlooking the famous Xihu, is impeccably maintained and clean. The rooms are decently sized and comfortable. The staff is not obtrusive but always present and pleasant. The amenities are commensurate with the type of rooms. It is definitely a great hotel for leisure travel or vacation resort. It is near Su Di and Lou Wai Lou, the famous restaurant. Temple Yue is 3 min away. Really love the breakfast there. The ginger tea brought us a warm morning during a code winter time. Two birds in the hotel lobby could green guests.
