The prices was the same, but the experience is worlds apart. First, the room was advertised as having a view of west lake. I guess it did, but it was a very fine sliver of a view of a remote west lake. In addition, the rooms were somewhat run down, the tile in the ahower was rough on the feet, the lobby/bar area was not only loud, but constant flashing lights that were incredibly annoying. Finally, when we checked in there was a serious push to hire their driver/car. Service staff are helpful and attentive. The location is desirable. However, the hotel is not for everyone: there are two night clubs that are part of the building complex (and it is not a very big building.) We stayed over the weekend and both nights I did not sleep. The music did not bother but the noise after the club closed at 4am.
