"Honeybee is the perfect location for exploring Bar Harbor and everything it offers. The 2 parking spaces are highly valuable! It’s in a quiet neighborhood, so maybe don’t invite the loud friend or family member, at least not if you like to hang outside in the evening. All in all we had a great stay! The only reason it didn’t earn 5 stars for me was due to the quality of beds, but I have really high standards."

"Home was clean and in a great location to walk all of Bar Harbor shops and restaurants. Also nice being able to walk to the Explorer bus stops to access Acadia park trails and sights without parking issues if you come during busy season (bus only runs certain months, did not use this visit but have on previous visits and LOVED the easy access)"

"The interior design was absolutely adorable. The outside space was well used and well loved by us! Lots of deer also lots of neighborhood cats lol Amy was amazing to work with. There were three or four discrepancies between the vrbo listing and the binder but nothing at all that was an unreasonable request. Very very simple check out instructions. absolutely loved it. Only mentioning it so you are not surprised! Highly recommend!"

"Just a nice place to stay, no real issues other than the thermostats were difficult to figure out, the kitchen roof leaks a little water when you shower upstairs, and the fridge shakes the house when the compressor turns off. Home owner was kind enough to mail me my souvenirs I souvenirs left, and everything was neat and tidy."

"My family and I stayed at Stephanie’s property for a long weekend away and it was wonderful! The location of the property was right near town, but still a little off the main street so it was comfortable and quiet. The home provided us with plenty of space for all of us (5 grown adults) to stay and hang out. Stephanie was great the entire time and provided quick responses along with recommendations. I would absolutely stay here again as I know I’d have a fantastic trip!"

"Great place to stay in southwest harbor. About 20 minutes from the busy town of Bar Harbor. Quiet neighborhood. Would recommend staying here and the host Ian was great with communications. Id only recommend more toilet paper (maybe 2 instead of 1) in the bathrooms."

"The house was a very nice home on a secluded road which made it all nice and quiet. This was a retirement gift trip for my parents. Overall everything was really nice. The only issue is the house has inadequate heat for the size and openness of the home. Though it was an issue the first couple nights the property managers were very nice and brought by space heaters to ensure my folks stayed warm through the chilly nights. They still enjoyed themselves and spent most of there time in Bar Harbor....

"We had a wonderful time hiking Acadia with our dogs during the quiet season. It was great that the property was available to us when most of the rentals are closed for the winter. The property was spacious, comfortable, and well equipped. It was located right near the Schoodic Point, a beautiful area of Acadia. We got to take in the exciting remnants of a coastal storm from a safe distance. All of us truly enjoyed our stay."

"The place met our needs for sleeping/showers etc. Kitchen well equipped if you came to cook. Was disappointed there was no fire pit (does offer chiminea). Furniture is not very comfortable for TV watching. Also when looking at the photos it appeared the water was closer than a mile or so away. Also was not expecting to have to take the trash to the road, strip beds, start laundry or make sure everything was wiped down. What was my cleaning fee for? This is just my opinion but when I’m on...

"What the house lacks in amenities is made up for by the location. This rustic property sits on the shore, blessed by the most beautiful scenery and sunsets. The house has everything you need, just very basic."

"Hot water was a bit slow to get. It’d take about 5 minutes for the hot water to even start when using the shower. Other than that, this property was very nice. Cute little cottages with everything you’d need for a hiking vacation. The owner was very responsive and nice. Great amenities on the property too which you don’t see in many other places. Will certainly book here again in the future if we return to Acadia. "
