"Rhonda was great in answering our pre-trip questions and Al was a great host on site! The property is on a very natural chain of lakes. We rented the pontoon boat which was great! Though I caught no fish, my fish finder showed that there were thousands -- just not biting at that time. Very highly recommended -- we will go back for those fish :)"

"We stayed at the Nettle Lake Lakehouse as our oldest son was graduating from high school. It was a beautiful and very clean property. There is a little store about a 5 minute walk from the house that has everything! The house was equipped with everything that we didnt. Our only suggestion would would be to put curtains in all of the bedrooms. There were blinds in the master bedroom but it got super bright in there in the am. One of the 3 bedrooms upstairs had curtains. Overall very beautiful...

"Our family came together from 3 states to celebrate our daughter as she graduated with her doctorate from Trine. The house was very spacious. The new deck was spectacular and perfect for the luncheon we had for family. The description said 4 full baths and showed a shower in all 4, but the main floor bathroom was actually only a half bath. Someone painted and left small paint puddles all over the kitchen tile and refrigerator. I scraped them off of the floor with a spatula. Someone sanded in the...

"This property was very clean and well stocked. It was close to Trine which was wonderful since we were there for our son’s graduation. Wish I had found it a few years ago. We would’ve stayed here instead of a hotel."

"Bertha's house was even better than the photos showed! Having a split-level layout was perfect for our group - because the sleeping areas were separate from the main floor, it made it easy for people to be awake and have a space to relax even if others were sleeping. The house was immaculate and we thoroughly enjoyed our time both on the patio, in the basement (super comfy couch!) and the dining room. We would definetely say again!"
