Bertha's house was even better than the photos showed! Having a split-level layout was perfect for our group - because the sleeping areas were separate from the main floor, it made it easy for people to be awake and have a space to relax even if others were sleeping. The home is lovely and had many extras including a welcoming snack tray with bottled water! The kitchen has all the utensils and some spices as well! There was an abundance of closet space. The beds were very comfortable and the basement area great for hanging out with a big group. We used the gas grill for one meal and it was in excellent condition and the propane was full. We did not use Lake Cree much as we had family staying on Skinner Lake, about 20 minutes away. Grocery, bakery and fast food are only 10 minutes away!
