Stayed in the family apartment. A 4th bed was crammed into the lounge downstairs leaving no space to move. Appears there was permanent residents staying there and they were extremely noisy, running up and down the stairs, slamming doors and kept us awake most of the night. The milk supplied for tea and coffee was in a jug covered with cling wrap. Powerpoints didn't work. Overall a very disappointing stay.

Unexpexted luxury
We were pleasantly surprised at the luxury for the price. The rooms were in an excellent state. The motel quiet - eventhough close to a main highway.

Enjoyable Stay
Booked the Family Room which was great. Plenty of room and quiet at night. Had a toilet upstairs and downstairs. Lovely balcony with one of the bedrooms.Loved the big bathroom towels. Amenities in bathroom are a minimum -no shower cap.

Clean and comfortable motel close to city centre
Stayed for one night and it was exactly what we needed - spacious, clean, warm and close to city centre. Parking in front of unit. Unit was two-storey (bedrooms upstairs from living) which was quite unique. A bonus having two toilets when travelling with kids.

Initial thoughts on seeing the room were this is clean but basic. There were only 4 teabags supplied daily (as I was on my own this was ok but it would have nice to not ration the number of cups of tea that I could have). The drain grill on the sink draining board was blocked and very smelly. The liquid soap in the bathroom seemed to have been diluted with water as it was extremely runny, so much so as to not get any lather when washing hands. The bottom of the spa bath is very scratched and appears to look grey as though the cleaners cannot get this clean. The shower was over the spa bath so to get in the high edge bath to shower and not have a rail on the wall to hold on to is a safety issue. There was a non- slip mat over the edge of the bath but when I moved this there was someone else's hair under it on the on the edge of the bath. The loo paper is in a tall dispenser (like public toilets). The robe and slippers to use as stated in the compendium were not there. There was also no breakfast menu in the front pocket as stated in the compendium. The bed was quite comfortable but all four pillows were very, very soft. It would have been nice to have the option of firmer pillows to use even if they were kept in the wardrobe. The staff were very friendly.

Excellent Motel with free parking
Motel is very conveniently placed for Seddon Park Cricket Ground (an easy 15 minute flat walk). Spoke to owner before we arrived who very kindly facilitated an early check in as we were driving down from Auckland to attend a day / night cricket match - which would have made check in during normal times impossible. Room was spotless and very comfortable - loved the ceiling fan! Strongly recommend this motel to anyone, particularly if you want somewhere handy for the cricket ground. While in Hamilton, make sure you visit Hamilton gardens, just outside of town - well worth it.

Nice, affordable and clean for a short stay.
Walking distance to pubs, restaurants, supermarket, waikato stadium and city centre. We stayed one night and were very happy with the cleanliness and ease of check in. We were even able to check out late, which we were thrilled with.

Carpets were stained, NO air conditioning (shocking for the price we paid). Who has no air conditioning these days???!! The liquid soap was super cheap and watered down. Overall it was very expensive for what we received. I would not recommend this place.

Poor service couldn't find online booking then tried to say wotif had wrong pricing and we'd need to pay extra. When we went to the office to get our complimentary milk they brought to our room then advised we needed to pay extra for our child as he looked older than what we had paid.Then after we checked out tried charging us for a window breakage that we didn't do as we didn't use that room. No phone to ring the office and poor English. Really disappointed that we used online to make the booking and to arrive and be greeted with less than satisfactory service. Be warned and advised that there is plenty more accommodation in Hamilton than Bks
