My cheese and egg sandwich was bitten with big holes by some unknown “animal” during the night, it was just scary and I tried not to leave my bed in the dark. Very uncomfortable and scary!

Does not warrant a 3* rating . Carpets dirty and general decor tired.picture of hotel front did not match the reality so spent 45 mins in the dark , at night , trying to find the hotel . Have not used Expedia before . I won’t be using it again . A very disappointing experience

The hotel itself is okay. No elevator to second floor. Staff is very nice. The area around it is terrible and looks rather dangerous. Bathroom had leaky faucet and there’s a gap on the floor that can rip your toes off. Too expensive for what it is. I do not recommend.

Find another.
Dust ans dirt line along the perimeter of the room where the vacuum doesn’t reach..carpets obviously uncleared for months or years. Black mold in the bathroom. Another hotel with creative pictures that have no bearing on reality. What more can one say?

Clean, basic hotel in good central location
Central hotel with good German breakfast. Staff helpful and pleasant . Rooms basic but clean . Very convenient for main station and town centre. Neighbourhood noisy and some people mind find atmosphere mildly threatening but we had no problems with it.

It’s basic, cheap and location was good for central station, however the surrounding area isn’t great. It did a job but that’s about it, it’s not a location you should pick for a holiday as there will be better options in nicer areas. I didn’t try breakfast, as I assumed it was going to be basic.

Location and price
The hotel is well located and it’s economic. If these are your top priorities, this is your type of hotel. However, if you also look for comfort, staff friendliness, good breakfast, and expect a clean room, then I would not recommend.

Rooms and service is fine. Difficult for people with mobility problems. Hotel itself is fine, yet it is a noisy area and streets close by require you to be quite aware.

Terrible location. People are nice
They have 3 properties, so we were sent to another one in the same street. The place is really bad - ugly, junkies everywhere, really bad impression and not at all child friendly. We had to use long stairs with the luggage - not convenient. Room was clean and people were friendly, but no extra help or support. I would pay a bit more and stay somewhere else. Only advantage is that it is close to the central station, but then choose the other side of the station.

The check in was terrible, no consideration, I booked one room for 2 adult and one kid, when I come, I bring one more kid age 18, I’m willing to pay extra money for one more person but he told us to booked one more room for one person, I don’t want us to be separated, his maybe 18 but he still little kid, so I booked another room that he never sleep in. They just want more money from us.

There are 5 steps to approach hotel reception then 25 more steps to climb to room. No lift on ground floor. Single room very tiny but bed was clean.

Good value
In a noisy, busy street but very handy to the HBF and this was obvious when placing the booking. Perfect for a weekend away with friends. Room was basic but clean and comfortable, bathroom was surprisingly spacious. Staff were very friendly.

Small but nice hotel, very close to Hauptbahnhof. Polite and helpful staff, breakfast nicely priced. The area is surely active during the nighttime, but for me the noise did not disturb me.

Horrible room in a great location
Definitely the worst hotel room I have EVER stayed in. My stay did have its good points though. The service was very good--staff were friendly and informative. Also, the location is great--very centrally located. Nevertheless, the condition of the room would prompt me to discourage anyone from booking a room here. Yes, it was cheap, but l would rather have payed a bit more for a more comfortable stay. The room was VERY run down--think lamps in two pieces and doorknobs coming off. The shower head came off and started spraying water everywhere when I used it, and the toilet brush was covered in feces. Really though, I'd stay away from this hotel. I didn't feel comfortable staying here.

It was clean
The picture of the hotel and location where not the same, it was on a Main Street and very sketchy. After check inn, I had to call reception as the TV was not working. And there where stains on the sofa bed. Someone also tried the door handle whist I and my child where in the room My door panel and key lock had been tampered with, which of the evening I moved the wardrobe in front of the door to feel safe. The bread at breakfast was stale.

Nice room but situated right by busy noisy street which was full of kebab, betting & sex shops. Room was so hot I had to open window but then couldn't sleep at all because of all the noise all night (1st floor). No lift to first floor so had to carry lots of very heavy luggage all the way up myself. Reception staff could barely speak English, I didn't think their attitude was particularly professional, far too casual for my liking, & when I asked if I could change rooms the guy didn't understand my problem & was no help at all. Worse night of my life, unfortunately, didn't sleep a wink

a quick business sop-over
hotel location was close to the main station and central to everything in the city. However the area of the hotel is rather undesirable. Hotel itself was clean and well maintained. Reception staff was friendly. street noise was intense when window was open at night. All in all, a good stay and I would be back.

Difficult to carry luggages esp. when luggages are heavy. elevator located at the 1st floor, not on the ground floor and about more than 20 steps going up...
