The communal onsen was excellent, spacious, and sparsely used as there are four private onsens for reservation. The dinner and breakfast were expansive, intricate, and delicious. Included in your reservation are yukata for wearing around the ryokan. The area is convenient to the hakone cable car line, and walkable to many parks, gardens, and local sites. 長い年月を経て醸し出された美しい庭園に足を踏み入れ、 景色の良い、露天風呂付きの部屋にて、正月の3日にチェックインにて滞在させていただきました。 事前に届いたメールにて、宿泊者情報を入力することで、当日のチェックインは簡単、短時間にてチェックイン完了しました。 その短い対応時間に、相方にウェルカム（どら焼き）をプレゼントしてくれました。 ★非常に美味しかったです(^^) エントランスでは、ウェルカムドリンクも各種あり、シャンパンが人気の様子でした。 コーヒーマシーンもあり嬉しいサービスのひとつです。 貸切露天風呂も利用させていただきましたが、コロナ禍では、密から解放され安心感の中で、ライトアップされ庭園の樹木を愛でながら、心も体も芯から温まり、都会の喧騒を忘れる素敵な入浴となりました。 食事は部屋食ではありませんが、部屋や服に匂いも付かず、逆に、たまには良いと感じました。 食事の献立は、バランス良く、彩りも綺麗で美味しい食事でした。 豪華さは無いかも知れませんが、美味しくする為に工夫し、手を加え努力されていることを感じさせる料理で、健康を気にされている方でも安心な食事でした。（満足です） 食事の後は、施設内にある足湯に浸かり、テーブルに置いてあるランプのゆらめきを眺めながら、相方とムーディーな食後のひと時も良かったです。（足を拭くタオルも備えてあります、至れり尽くせり！） 部屋の窓は大きく、部屋の照明を消すと星が良く見えて、普段の生活では味わえない空間を満喫できました。 露天風呂付きでしたので、朝靄の幻想的な景色を見ながら朝風呂も満喫させていただきました。 朝食のおかずも種類が多く、ご飯はおかわりもでき、味噌汁は固形燃料で温められており、嬉しい配慮。 部屋数も多い施設ですが、最小限のスタッフさんで無駄なくオペレーションされている感じでした。 口コミは多数ありますが、課題として改善努力されている様子が随所に感じられました。 改善提案として、貸切露天風呂では、和の演出、空間とのバランスを考えてのことかと思われますが、椅子が低すぎて年配の方は後ろに倒れる可能性があります。 見た目は和の雰囲気ではなくなりますが、安定感もあり、体格の大きい方、海外からの方も座り易く、木製のものより洗浄も簡単で衛生的かと思われます。 （客室露天風呂の椅子も同じく） 客室設置のカウンター椅子ですが、雰囲気にマッチしているものの、座面が小さ過ぎて心地良さがありません。 年配の方にも配慮して、背もたれ付きの椅子だと座り心地も良く、安心かと思いました。 洗面台の排水口ですが、ピアス、電気カミソリ刃等、小さい物が流れ落ちる可能性があるので、排水口ネットを置くことで、掃除も簡素化でき、万が一流れた際の無駄な対応も避けるメリットもあると思いました。 箱根に行く際は、是非リピートさせていただきます。 また、スタッフの皆さまのこれからの挑戦や成長も楽しみにしております。
