The private open air onsen was excellent although 30 minutes was a little short. The kaiseiki meals served in the room were also very good. The friendly employees made the experience even better. One thing we were a little disappointed was the bathtub was only a deep soaking tub inside the bathroom instead of a semi open tub which was on the website when we booked the premium room. The zen area inside the room was similar to the photo on the website. It was very cool. Overall, we enjoyed our stay a lot. I would highly recommend this property.

    Really good

Kaiseki was high end; including things like live abolone and bluefin tuna. Outdoor onsen was reservable for 30 min upon checkin and was beautiful. There are also free use highend massage chairs in the zen spa area. The best ryokan out of the 3 we stayed in. Only thing they could improve on is updating the furniture and perhaps changing the windows as the building is a bit older.
