"The rooms are extremely small and the AC was not working properly. When we checked out and mentioned how hot the room was they said it was a known problem and gave us a couple bags of chips and juice. We stoll paid over 400 for a night in a room that was to hot to comfortably sleep in."

"This is a new hotel less than a year old. European style layout. Nice full length windows for viewing of the city. Walkable to Roger Center, CN Tower and a very trendy restaurant Kost. The breakfast buffet is a great feature of the hotel. Fresh tasteful food with a wide selection. The staff have to be the most friendly I have witnessed in awhile and they do seem to know every guest and speak to you every morning at breakfast and greet you every evening on your return to the hotel. A nice personal touch."

"First of all, the staff who worked at the front desk on May 21-May 25, 2026, was terrific! I have not experienced such a great customer service in a while. We stayed in 1-bedroom apartment. Apartment/hotel suite was spacious and had everything basic (dishes, tea kettle, glasses, frying pan, plates, utensils, etc) you need for a comfortable stay! Brand new full size washer and dryer with the laundry detergent provided in the unit was a very useful amenity to have. There was a separate bedroom with the door and the closet, and a living room with sleeping sofa. The wall separating the bedroom from the living room was made out of glass. We found the mattress and sleeping sofa comfortable; bed sheets, towels smelled fresh but without overwhelming fragrance scent which we appreciated. My son used the gym, which is located in the adjacent building, and loved it (he said the view to the city skyline from the window was enjoyable at night). Although the building is not in downtown itself, easy access to the public transportation (about 7-10 min walk to the first metrorail stop) helped us to get around the city without any issues or delays. Full size Grocery store is 10-12 min walk from the building. One recommendation we would make - for the hotel to put a larger sign for all visitors to be able to identify the building quicker. If we go to Toronto, we will stay at this place without any second thoughts! Value for the money we paid per night, to us, was unbeatable."

"This is not a HOTEL. This is an apartment that is being rented out as a "hotel room". When I arrived to the location, a police officer was outside and he said that it was not a hotel but a resident building. To not go into the building since it could not be safe. I spoke to the information sent by Hotels.com and the number they use was on WhatsApp. I even went to the original location given which was in a really bad neighborhood with only bodegas, cigar stores and other simple stores. I call the supposed attendant for this location they were not helpful. I spoke to the officer and he said to file a police report. I tried to cancel with Hotels.com and they said to wait 72hrs for the correction. By the next day the supposed manager for this location stated that he will not give the refund, even though I never accepted to stay and the predicament that they put me through. They said that I should've accepted it and work with them. Hotels.com also did not helped me with the situation. I have to wait until it gets posted to create a case with my bank to get my money bank. Never again will I trust Hotels.com. DO NOT USE THIS PROPERTY. IT IS A SCAM!"

The Loft - The Brick Hotel

"The unit is essentially brand new and was fully appointed with all the expected amenities. It even had a microwave which was not listed in the amenities list. The neighborhood is in a great downtown location, vibrant, eclectic, diverse and fun. The apartment was also quiet at night. There were some issues worth mentioning. The unit has only one bath, not one and one half baths as listed. The unit entrance is at the rear, in a lane/alley. Arriving at night there was very little lighting. The entry door was not marked either with an address # or any other identification. There was also graffiti on the rear building wall and a pile of leaves and trash just steps from the door which did not make a good impression. And while there was parking in paid lots close by, it is not correct to say it is “onsite.” That said, the host was very responsive and cooperative with any questions or issues we had, particularly when we were arriving."
