Well situated for the beach and amenities.
This hotel is as stated above is well situated for the beach (which is very narrow) and all local bars and shops. Gouves is a pleasant resort but spread over a large area comprising of the seafront, two streets with shopping and bars/restaurants, and about a mile of seafront with shops and restaurants, spread thinly along the front. We were the only British people in the hotel, all the other guests were eastern european and Russian. This was in no way a problem to us as they were all well behaved and quiet. The hotel rooms were pleasant and reasonably equipped with a kettle and fridge. The bathroom was clean and recently renovated with an excellent shower. The food was acceptable, but largely catered for the eastern europeans (understandably). All in all the hotel makes a good base for a cheap break in Gouves, we ate out most of the time and used the hotel for drinks and snacks during the day. You get exactly what you pay for, at best I would give somewhere between 2-3 stars, but no complaints!
Pros: Central location and convenient for the beach.
Cons: For the price, not much, It is exactly what we expected, basic and clean, with average food.
Location: Already covered I think. The nearest bar is The Anfield, it has weekly live music, sport channels, good food English beer, including Guinness.
