Just include it in the price. Do not do underhanded tactics like extra costs, it just gives a bad taste in the mouth. Hence, the low rating. The floor of the room was very dirty, like someone walked in with muddy boots. It was more a surprise than a problem. The placement of the hostel is good. The staff was great. The 15 mins tram ride from the train station was a nice ride where you could see some of the sights to be seen. The kitchen was spacious n opened for long hours. Other guests were co-operative in keeping the kitchen clean n tidy. The dorm rooms were great, the bunks built in so no wobbling, and each with a curtain across for privacy, individual reading lights and sockets. Ladder was a little uncomfortable/fiddly. The option to rent sheets/towel is good, but not obligatory. Check-in is via key-pad & lock-box but very simple and easy to use. I was able to drop my luggage off ahead of check-in and also leave my luggage during the day after checkout. The lounge and balcony were a nice area to sit in in the evening. I didn't use the kitchen but it seemed well equipped. Communal toilets and showers were clean and only had to queue once.
