The hotel is centrally located which makes it easy to get around. There is parking at the front of the hotel but WATCH OUT!!! There are no signs saying that you have to pay and I got a parking ticket. There is only one payment machine hiding in the corner. The staff are very kind, the facility is clean and there are a lot of extras like tea, coffee water and cookies available throughout the day. The breakfast was excellent with a variety of choices displayed well and kept clean and replenished. It was not air conditioned so we got a fan from the front desk which made the night comfortable. If one person stretched out, the other person got an elbow to the eye! Staff were friendly but the room barely had space for the bed. One other quirk is the boat and it's entry point creak and rattle like a kid practising the kettle drum. The rooms however were clean and serviable for a base. The breakfast was very good and they had tea and cofee and water and biscuits available all time, id have still liked a jettle in my room as it was inconvenient to get dressed to make that first cup of tea in the morning. The rooms were wamr. The hotel is about 20 minutes walk from transport links, and there are no restaurants or shops nearby if you want food or a snack, We had a lovely stay and for the price a short walk was fine. Definitely good for a cheap weekend base.
