"The ambiance of the property was fabulous. It is an old building and was charming. The main bed was comfortable BUT the futon's were actually chairs that folded out and they were EXTREMELY uncomfortable. There was no staff available. It was all contactless. The bar was the same no people. If you didn't have cell phone to use the QR code you could not get a drink. The breakfast if you didn't pay for it in advance was not available as expected. I found the place charming but unwelcoming. However...

"Room was clean and comfortable. It was very hot when we first arrived. Luckily due to the time of year we were able to open windows and shut off rhe heat to make it comfortable. Staff were helpful at check in and kind. You can hear noise from other guests but luckily they went to bed early so it didn't keep us up. The rooms had USB C and USB plug ins so we didnt need adapters which was helpful. We stayed here for two nights while we did a tour. It was in a great location to meet up with tour companies. I would stay here again if we were in Inverness."

"Building is under construction until summer and this was not mentioned anywhere before I booked. Due to this there is now no parking on site which is also not mentioned when you book. Night shift front desk was a total jerk and gave no information about anything so he should not be in the customer service industry. The rest of the staff however was fantastic and the location was very nice and close to all the restaurants and pubs so walking around was easy."
