Beaufort Hotel

Beaufort Hotel

8/10 Good
"Clean, boutique hotel. The room was small as expected. The highlight was the bar which gave us somewhere to relax at the end of the day. Breakfast was good. Staff was friendly, but they are stretched thin. At night, one person managed the registration desk and the bar. In the morning, I think it was 1 or 2 people managing breakfast and the registration desk (not counting maintenance and kitchen staff). The staff was friendly, but not necessarily knowledgeable about common tourist destinations."

"Was a great hotel. If you get chance get there early to explore the town. Its very beautiful. My only criticism is I wasn't sure where to park and parked by the front of hotel on waste ground. Go around the Hotel and there is a carpark around the side. It has limited spaces but I was unaware of it. The evening meal and breakfast was of good standard and the staff were very helpful and friendly. May stop there on way back from visiting the Highlands in a few months time."

"The host informed us upon arrival there was an issue for our room. However, they relocated us to a second location that was very nice. If we wanted the complimentary breakfast we had to go back to the original location. Would’ve been nice to get a credit instead. Otherwise great location to local restaurants and tourist activities"

"We had 2 rooms booked here. The staff was friendly, the place is very cozy with a beautiful water facing property. We did not get a chance to eat lunch or dinner at the restaurant, but the breakfast had a lot of variety and was great! The rooms were clean, beds were comfortable. "We had an enjoyable stay. The hotel is very central so convenient for city centre amenities. It is however very close to a lot of the bars and pubs, so if you don’t want to be disturbed at night choose a river view room which are at the back of the hotel. We found the staff very friendly and helpful and the room was very clean."
