Family Time

The property was exactly as pictured: GORGEOUS! We loved our time there. We unknowingly went during one of the busiest weeks of the year. The chalet was our retreat from the crowds. We loved relaxing together in all the many spaces. We highly recommend this cabin and will definitely return if we have the opportunity. The views are breathtaking.

Weekend Before Christmas Celebration

Lots of space for the whole family to spread out and be comfortable. The only downfall was trying to navigate the driveway. I wish there were better warnings listed for these steep driveways. While the view was breathtaking and it was very serene and peaceful outside, my sister in law lost her muffler the second day just from driving up the hill. It wouldn’t have been a game changer but if I had known about the driveway beforehand, we could have better prepared Ourselves by renting a vehicle. I also didn’t realize there were three flights of stairs. Again, not too much of an issue for us but for families with members who may be handicapped, it would be nice to know these details ahead of time. All correspondence with the host was answered in a timely manner and we really enjoyed our trip. Would have been nice to see some Christmas decorations but beggars can’t be choosers. Overall it was everything we needed it to be

Beautiful home, with some issues

The home was beautiful and we even had a bear visit the property. However, there was a terrible smell (like that of a dead animal) on the bottom floor throughout the entire stay. Maintenance tried to use air freshener and an air purifier, but it persisted. It did affect our visit and hoped a partial refund would be offered, but one was not offered. There were other smaller issues that I won’t go into detail about but for the cost of the rental stay, it was not worth it.
