The Wildside Cabin 1 queen bedroom + loft with 2 queen beds Bonfires, Hot tub
The Wild Side Cabin
About this Space This cabin sits on 48 acres which borders the unfinished part of the Foothills parkway which is available to our guest to roam and experience the great outdoors. My personal experience is heavenly bliss being able to get out of the hustle bustle of this crazy world and experience true mountain wildlife Absolute seclusion in the mountains, yet only 15 minutes from attractions in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg Only 5 minutes from the new “Wild Side” Adventure Park Property borders the National Park in a historic, private location Sleeps up to 6 The perfect small family vacation retreat or honeymoon hideaway Hot Tub Fire pit, Picnic Table & Porch Swing Starlink Wifi, Smart TV’s, and Dish Network Service Park style charcoal BBQ grill with lid Washer & Dryer Keurig Coffee Maker Unique, one-of-a-kind location no one will ever believe you found!
The Space Escape and unwind at this secluded mountain getaway where your closest neighbors are wild turkeys and black bears. Our cabin is an outdoor lover’s dream come true with plenty of open yard space to enjoy family picnics, social gatherings and telling stories by the fire, and experiencing the real Smoky Mountains. Sit on the porch swing to drink your coffee or take a nature walk every morning. It’s only a short, 15 minute drive to town if you can pull yourself away from the tranquility that abounds. Perfect for small family vacations, honeymooners, a girls’ gossip weekend or just to escape the demands of life. Our more modern cabin sits where the original settler’s cabin once was. The area is rich in mountain history where families lived off the land to survive.
Downstairs Open Floor Plan Enjoy preparing home cooked meals for your family in our sweet little kitchen, the outside grill, or pop leftovers in the microwave. The cabin is stocked with cookware, dishes, and utensils. The dining table is in the living room downstairs with an open floor plan that encourages conversation and catching up on all the family news and gossip. Desserts taste even better while relaxing on the couch watching a good movie!
Bedrooms The master bedroom is located downstairs with a Queen bed, and the upstairs loft bedroom has two more queen beds. Loft bedrooms always remind me of Little House on the Prairie. How about you?
Bathroom The bathroom is located downstairs in an area convenient for all to reach with plenty of towels. Did you know that back in the day the families that lived in the original cabin used an outhouse on property and even carried their water from a nearby spring? I bet you’re glad you won’t have to do that!
Laundry If you enjoy the outdoors as much as we do, you’re gonna need to wash some clothes while you’re here! It’s easy peasy using our stackable washer and drier near the kitchen. Sure beats using a warsh board like Granny did, too.
Decks and Outdoor Space The front deck has a porch swing, table & chairs, accessed from the living room area. This is where most of the story-telling and lies will occur while listening to katy-dids at night or watching for turkeys to pass in the daytime. The back deck is where the hot tub is located and where absolute laziness transpires. Maybe a little lovin’, too, at night if you know what I mean.
The fire pit and picnic table area is only a hop, skip and a jump from the cabin’s door. This is what makes it a family retreat and where all the best memories are going to be made!
Guest Access We’ll provide a handy personalized door code for your stay and other cabin details in a separate message a few days before your arrival. There’s plenty of parking for three cars right outside the cabin. You’ll have access to the entire cabin, plus the large yard space surrounding it. Nature walks are soothing and enjoyable on the road leading to the cabin. This road dead ends one mile from the cabin at the last private residence that also borders the National Park.
Things to Note This ain’t like living when the original cabin was standing, but it’s a MUCH more authentic mountain experience than anywhere else in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Cell phone service is challenging, but there’s a booster inside the cabin. Wifi calling via the Starlink internet is your best communication with the outside world. Yes, there are critters in the mountains. It doesn’t necessarily mean a coon is going to reach through the window and steal the cookie out of your hand, but it is quite likely you’ll run into creatures of all kinds. Bugs, butterflies, ticks, turkeys, bobcats, bears, coons, frogs, snakes, and possums are all possible nature experiences here, free of charge.

My family and I had such a great time! It was a beautiful cabin in a beautiful setting just like i hoped it would be! We hope to return soon for more fun and family time.
A little further out than I expected, but a beautiful and quiet location. Cabin is situated in a scenic location and very well maintained! Definitely a property I would love to own myself. While we didn’t see any wildlife beyond some turkeys down the road and some squirrels, I’m sure there are great opportunities to see some bears. This was a wonderful experience place to spend our Thanksgiving Vacation and would LOVE to stay again!!!
this is truly a get away cabin. its very secluded in its own cove in the mountains with no neighbors. but also very centrally located since its only 12 minutes from the strip in pigeon forge and only 20 minutes from wears valley.
We also found this cabin to be very well stocked with basic essentials that made our trip very easy.
overall this is an awesome place to stay and we will definitely look at staying again in the future.
This cabin was out away from everything backing up to Smokey National park. The drive in was partly on a winding narrow mountain lane that couldn't fit 2 cars so be aware of that. We loved the quiet and the privacy and beauty of the woods around us. Everything was clean and we enjoyed the fire pit and the hot tub. Thanks for a relaxing stay - we only wish we'd had more time to stay.
This is a beautiful little cabin tucked back in Pigeon Forge about 3 or 4 minutes from town you couldn't hear a car or another person at all it was so quiet and peaceful Little Creek on each side beautiful hot tub worked great loved it there was nothing that I didn't like about this cabin it had it all will definitely book again and bring more family so don't wait book now for a peaceful quiet close to town

The property was exactly as pictured and communication with the host was excellent. This was the cleanest property we have ever stayed at. Location to town was also great, with an easy drive. The setting is very beautiful and peaceful.
