The perfect place
The review of this property is definitively easy to write. For us, family with teenagers, was the perfect place to stay. The villa is more beautiful than what you see from the pictures and perfectly clean. The space is more than enough. Location allows to relax reading in silence sun bathing or swimming but also to go easily to the sea and trekking. Cities and related shopping and restaurants are a few minutes away. The communication was fast, gentle and easy. Thanks!

What a villa!
Had the most amazing stay! The villa was perfect for our group of 9 people. It is so clean, comfortable and well equipped. The outside area and pool is absolutely stunning. The pool itself is big and loo and warm. The beds are really comfortable. The weather was very unpredictable this week but we had great fun and managed some sea swims. We had some fabulous meals at cafe canela in lajares and also a fabulous pizza pasta place across the roundabout from the hyperdino in lajares. Their pizza/ pasta were amazing and the staff lovely! We will be back!

Spacious villa in a great location
Our first ever trip as a family overseas, and not disappointed by Fuerteventura. This villa is a good spot if you want to travel between coasts and get away from the crowd. Lots of space, great pool area etc. IT/TV system is all a bit outdated so bring your own laptop to hook up or favourite DVDs etc if you want the options of a movie night. However, it’s a super smart villa in a great location and perfect for large groups or a couple of families.

Nice villa in quiet location
Villa was spacious with plenty of room to spread out, nicely finished both internally and out. Had a lovely weeks holiday here, however, there can be a fair bit of noise from the dogs continually barking to the rear when your chilling by the pool. Twiggy the cat was a real character, well fed during our stay. Only negatives I would point out was the lack of awareness to the CCTV installed inside of the property, landlords have a legal obligation to make guest aware that their image may be recorded. Secondly the tiles around the pool are lethal when wet especially if flip flops involved, be very careful !!! However, lovely big property, kitchen well stocked and we did enjoy our stay !

Christmas at Villa De Cubas
Had a lovely family Christmas at Villa De Cubas - 2 Grandparents, 2 sons with wives/partners and 2 granddaughters (12 & 4 yrs). Pool was loved by all but unfortunately both girls were cut by a minute chip of either tile or stone caught in the grout between tiles on one of the steps. Both were cut, the 4 year old on her toe and the elder one on her leg. The chip was found and disposed of . It would appear that it must have either blown in or been disturbed by water movement as the pool had only been checked about an hour before by the maintenance man. The only other problem was loss of internet from Christmas Eve but at least this kept the 12 year old off her iPad! These apart we had a fantastic time and loved the island especially Oasis Wildlife Park. Please thank the owners for making such a beautiful villa available for people to escape from wet UK and enjoy Christmas in the sun.

We are so glad to hear you enjoyed your stay at our villa. We are also sorry to hear about the girls cutting their feet. Our pool is cleaned regularly, so broken tiles are usually spotted quickly, but we will look into this. Rather than a chipped tile it may have been some gravel that made it's way in, or perhaps some glass dropped by a previous guest. We hope to welcome you to our villa again sometime soon!

Villa De Cubas
We all enjoyed our 2 week stay and the villa it was a great base. The only downside was the area around the pool when wet was very slippery and quite dangerous for young children, we had to buy rubber soled beach shoes for the 2 children. The dogs at the rear of the property were barking quite loud at times during the day and night which was a little irritating. Overall very nice indeed.

Wow, What a Villa!!
What can I say but this is probably one of the best Villa's that my family have stayed in on the Island. It is an amazing villa, lovely and quiet, clean and modern and most importantly safe. It has a fabulous large pool that stayed warm during the day and night. The outside area is beautiful with all the diffeent plants and flowers, and with sun beaming around the area all day who could ask for more. With the large windows you can enjoy all the views overlooking Corralejo (From the Kitchen) The bedrooms are set out like a 5 star hotel and were cool at night. The location of the villa was good, with a short 30 minute drive from the airport and only about ten minutes drive to either Corralejo or El Cottillo. We visited the local bakery by the school in Villaverde on most days where you can sit down and have a coffee whilst waiting for the bread to be baked, especially on Sunday's when most of the local shops are closed. We shopped at the local shops in Villaverde but on many occasions went to Hipperdino in Lajares. In the evenings we either had a BBQ (charcoal) or went in Corralejo / El Cotillo where you will find some amazing restaurants especially The Mirador in El Cottillo which overlooks the bay. El Horno is a must if you fancy a more localised restaurant which is only 5 minutes by car in Villaverde. From all the family we would like to thank all the cleaners and Pool Guy for keeping everything clean during our stay. We had an amazing 2 weeks holiday and we would definitely recommend it to anyone and look forward to booking it again

Excellent villa!!
This was a really fantastic villa, with a fabulous pool and outdoor area. It really does feel like a luxury villa with the modern open design and large windows to enjoy the fabulous views. The pool was lovely and warm, it wasn't as deep as we'd hoped, which is a shame for the teenagers, but it was still a great pool. The outside area gets great sun all day and with all of the glass at the property you really feel connected whether enjoying outside or relaxing inside. It was a shame that the sound system wasn't working and some sort of Bluetooth sound system would be a welcome addition to the villa. The bedrooms were cool at night most of the time but a pedestal fan would be useful for the nights that get hotter. The location of the villa was great, with a relatively short drive from the airport and only about ten minutes to Corralejo, all improved by the new road systems. We were able to buy all the groceries we needed from the local Hyperdino in Villaverde. We always enjoy eating out on holiday and Fuerte has plenty of great restaurants. We enjoyed a lovely meal in Villaverde at Mahoh (an authentic Spanish restauarant) on our first night and many great meals in Corralejo. The villas cat was a welcome addition and she charmed everyone! We are now on the lookout for a kitten!! Thank you for a fantastic week in your lovely villa we would definitely recommend it and would consider booking again in the future.

Beautiful villa with spectacular pool
Had a fantastic stay in the most beautiful villa. It was so peaceful and quiet we could easily fall asleep by the amazing pool. We found brilliant restaurants just a few minutes drive away, also the beaches are literally breathtaking. There is the most gorgeous little cat that comes to the villa regularly and she is just a bundle of love, the villa was very clean and extremely well equipped. The beds were very comfortable. The owners and management team were great, very welcoming and accommodating, definitely going back

Excellent, peaceful stay
We had a wonderful second stay in Villa De Cubas. The location of the villa was excellent - a short drive into Corralejo, with lovely local restaurants near by, El Horno was one of our favourites. The villa is also a short walk to the most delicious bakers, which we went to every morning!! The villa itself was beautiful, we felt like royalty, WOW, definitely 5 star luxurious accommodation. Very well equipped and clean and the children loved the pool, it was the perfect temperature. Melissa who looks after the villa was very efficient and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. My husband and I and our two friends had a very relaxing and peaceful stay - the villa is very private and not overlooked, we wished we could've stayed longer. It was wonderful to find such a large villa that comfortably accommodated 6 people, both adults and children. We found three beautiful beaches just a short drive away, El Cotillo was our favourite and the sand dunes were breathtaking. We will definitely be booking again for our third time!

Villa de Cubas is fantastic.
The villa is excellent. It is spacious and well proportioned. Some of the facilities are not quite 5 star; there is no hot water feed in the kitchen, and on most days only two bathrooms near the solar panels got hot water. So cold showers or share the upstairs bathroom. The gas hob is very temperamental and doesn’t give a lot of heat. Bedding is frugal and it got quite cold. However, the response of the local representative was excellent. She was always happy to help, no matter when you asked. This is our second visit, and despite the niggles, we loved it for our extended family holiday. We would happily go back.

There was an issue with the kitchen tap which has now been rectified. All bathrooms get hot water -being a large villa you need to allow the water to run a little longer before the hot water comes through. We have not identified a problem with the hob, but we have now changed the gas bottle - should that have been the cause. We have sent out new bedding to the villa - as we do every couple of seasons.

Not as peaceful as we had expected/hoped for...
We stayed at Villa de Cubas for seven days (March 13-20 2019) & was generally a wonderful experience. The villa is very spacious, spotless & well appointed. Unfortunately, the pool rapidly cooled down & was not heated (mains power back-up) for two-three days out of the seven days we had requested during our stay. Also, to the front of Villa de Cubas there is currently another villa being built approximately 100 metres away (building site) Thankfully, this is a temporary glitch, however, we do think prospective renters should be informed. Approximately 100 metres to the rear of the property there is also hunting dog kennels & frequently throughout our stay dogs can be heard barking continuously which impacts on the enjoyment of the fabulous pool side area. We highlighted to the housekeeper that the lighting to the front elevation of the property was not working & a blocked poolside shower drain, unfortunately, no maintenance/fix was forthcoming. There is no SKY TV & no hot water feed to the kitchen sink. Also, & just a suggestion, a maids visit midweek would have been greatly appreciated just to change the laundry & refresh the villa a little. The villa is situated in the village of Villaverde which has three wonderful tavernas/restaurants. Near by, is another quaint little village of Lajares & a few kilometres further north is the commercial/tourist centre of Corralejo-a 'mekka' for some 'Brits abroad'!

Thank you for your feedback. To our knowledge the pool was both solar and power heated throughout your stay but as we advise the guests, the pool cover must be left on overnight to retain the heat. The new one storey build is closer to the central lands and is almost 200 metres from our villa. This is due to be completed in the next few months. Several neighbours have pet dogs - there are no hunting dogs in the vicinity. The lighting is on a movement sensor and is in full working order. The poolside shower drain is cleared weekly and is just due to the build up of sand from guests returning from the beach. We had a plumber check the hot water feed to the kitchen sink and he reported that it takes a few minutes to run through. We offer a mid stay clean on bookings over 9 night. We have however made note of your suggestion, thank you.

Fantastic Villa
We were a three generations party of nine who had an amazing holiday in this outstanding villa. There was plenty of space and everything you needed for a perfect holiday. The pool and outside area got plenty of use by us all! The location was perfect for exploring and had a nice local traditional feel, we can highly recommend the local bakery. We would not hesitate to return.

The villa was wonderfully large in a beautiful village in a location ideal for travelling around
The villa was a fantastic size for our party of 8, with great communal areas and a reallŷ lovely patio and pool terrace area. We had nearly everything we required for a comfortable stay however, I couldn't give the villa a 5-star rating due to the distinct lack of necessary basic provisions - there was no hand soap in any of the bathrooms, no bin bags, no dishwasher tabs other than 2 and no washing up stuff. Given this was a high-end rental property, it was disappointing to have to provide these items ourselves.

We always strive to make our guests feel as comfortable as possible and we go to great lengths to assure you have appliances and equipment, yet it is unfortunately just not possible to supply all items needed for our guests. However, we do supply an initial started kit of washing tablets, soap and toilet paper to help our guests settle in comfortably. We do not specify that we supply all washing/ cleaning products; if our guests request something particular upon arrival, we will happily supply. Over the ten years of renting our home, no one has mentioned the lack of soaps or washing products and we are truly sorry this affected our guests stay, we have taken note and appreciate all feedback.

We all had a great time at villa de cubas in march 2017 the weather was perfect the villa was 5 star, our 12 and 3 year old boys loved the heated pool. All in all an absolutely fabulous Holliday and we would love to stay in this villa for our next visit to fuerteventura. P.s the photos do not do the villa justice !!

Possibly the best accommodation in Fuerteventura.
We travelled and stayed as a family of 10, 5 adults and 5 children, aged from 72 to 2. The whole family were excited by the quality of the design finish and layout. It's modern and by far the best accommodation we have experienced, in our visits to Fuerteventura. We consider ourselves lucky to have found paradise in the north of the island,the whole complex,the sea view, the private pool the designed interior, plain and simple concept, it all works fantastic. We were 3 age groups all family the communal areas, luxury is the only way to describe the kitchen seating for 12 in the the high gloss fittings, the lounge is the focal point of the house and everything radiates from this, the pool is viewed via the glass wall running the length of lounge, this enables visual contact to the out side, to be part of the play area and is an outstanding feature to the villa. Their is no heat gain via these large windows with a north south orientation, to the south the out door seating is under cover and the heated pool receives sun all day long, we spent a lot of time tuning the girls swimming. All the joinery doors stairs are all of a consistent high quality bathrooms, en suites are large and qualitity, with plenty of hot water. We will return without a shadow of doubt to this high quality villa, the villa is set 200 meters above sea level in a quiet area and 10 minutes drive from the towns and beaches, the northern beach at El Cottilo is safe and white sand and offers plenty of play and digging opportunities for the girls gran is now recovering. Stunning and spacious property with private pool made for a fantastic holday
What a stunning property. First impressions were that we had stepped on to a film set. It is very well equipped, clean and well maintained. The private pool, terraces and maintained grounds were fabulous. We all loved having such a large and clean pool to ourselves. The property is in a great location with views across hills and the plain towards Lanzarote. This gives a real sense of openess and connection to the landscape. The large windows to the front of the property bring these views inside. There are a few other houses nearby but the villa is not overlooked and this increased the sense of privacy. We were a party of three adults and five children (6-16 years old). There was ample space for us to spread out and enjoy the villa. We had two or three film nights making use of the superb TV and entertainment system. There's a wonderful bakery in Villaverde and good restaurants too. Supermarkets are located within a few minutes drive in Villaverde/La Oliva, Lajares and Corralejo. A car is essential but we knew that when booking. There's lots to do nearby and stunning scenery on the doorstep. All in all this is a great villa with a lovely private pool and we had a wonderful holiday. We didn't want to leave. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this villa.

Perfection
There are many well designed villas on the island but we felt this villa was the best; spotless, cool, luxurious and comfortable. Cleverly designed so it never got too hot. It suited our two young children as well as the grandparents. Warm solar heated pool which was shallow enough to be relaxing with children. Very comfy beds and pillows. Clean towels supplied. Well stocked kitchen. Private. Amazing views. Easy to reach towns or beaches within about 20 min drive max. Lots of recommendations for local restaurants which were well worth a visit. Our favorite was Azzuro in El Contil, which was also our favorite beach. The only thing that could be improved is the weak wifi which only reached as far as the sitting room. This could be cheaply extended. Friendly and helpful owner. We look forward to going back, which says it all. Thanks for sharing your home with us.

Relaxing modern oasis
A stunning home tucked away with gorgeous views, a perfect pool and lounging back yard and patio! Easy location for commuting, the most comfortable stay, and the spacious house is to die for. The Kitchen was a dream to cook in, the living room so relaxing looking out onto the pool and peacocks wandering the neighbourhood! Fabulous Villa , Convenient Location , Great Family Holiday.
The Villa lived up to our expectations , fabulous spacious property ensured there was plenty of room for our party of 8 with an age range of 1 to 80. The location was as described , in a very quiet location a short drive away from good local restaurants and the supermarkets. Beaches and resorts within an easy 15 minute drive ensured all our party of varying ages were well catered for. We all enjoyed our week long stay , only wishing it could have been a little longer. Our only complaint : The Weather : unfortunately we had a slightly rainy / cloudy week - but this no fault of the owners :-) We will undoubtedly visit again. Highly Recommended.

Sejour parfait
Une superbe villa tres bien équipée pour cet inoubliable séjour en famille. Tres spacieuse et environnement calme. Les enfants ont apprécié la piscine chauffée. Le point à améliorer est le BBQ, ustensiles et endroit dédié pour eviter de salir l'environnement de la piscine. L'ensemble hifi et tv ne fonctionne pas. Cela ne nous a pas dérangé pour le séjour.

Villa de rêve pour vacances en famille
Séjour d'une semaine avec 3 grands ados dans un cadre idyllique, au calme. Prestations au top et propreté parfaite. Beaucoup d'espace. La piscine chauffée est parfaitement entretenue. Juste une petite remarque : matelas très confortables mais les couettes pourraient être plus grandes et du linge de maison de rechange devrait être mis à dispo dans les armoires.

Magnifique villa
Nous avons passé 10 jours dans cette villa et nous en gardons un très bon souvenir. La maison est vraiment magnifique avec une piscine chauffée à 30 degrés, c’était un vrai bonheur. L’emplacement est bien même s’il faut savoir que 5 chiens sont enfermés pas très loin et leur aboiement (qui peut durer très longtemps en journée) peut vraiment se révéler agaçant (même si le propriétaire n’y peut rien). Notre seul regret est de n’avoir eu personne pour nous accueillir et que personne no plus ne nous a demandé si tout se passait bien alors que nous sommes restés 10 jours. Malgré tout cela reste très positif

Fantastische villa
In deze villa waan je je een filmster! Supergroot. 5 slaapkamers 4 badkamers. Er waren wat kleine dingetjes maar die zijn of worden ogelost. De wifi is wel erg zwak. De eigenaar is heel vriendelijk op de mail en de huismanager ter plaatse (via mail) ook. Mooie ligging van het huis met zwembad. Supermakt en bakker in de buurt evenals een geweldig restaurant.

Buena casa con algunos fallos
Los fallos que tenia bajo nuestro punto de vista es que el internet iba muy mal, el suelo que rodea la piscina no era antideslizante y resbalaba mucho. La barbacoa no se había limpiado desde su último uso. También faltaría algo de aire acondicionado y más aparatos multimedia, lo que había estaba muy viejo y casi no le dimos uso.

Dear Ignacio We are sorry to learn you were not happy with the wi-fi. We have had extenders installed to the villa but due to the size of the property there are some areas they do not reach. The pool tiles are treated with an anti-slip coating however caution must be applied when wet. The villa was designed to function without air-con, with thermal walls and ceiling - preventing heat from passing through. Re your comment on multi media services, a Smart TV is being installed in November.

Toller Aufenthalt in perfekter Location: die Strände und Orte waren super erreichbar. Sehr großes, schönes, gut ausgestattetes Haus mit grandiosem Pool. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Villa mit Potential
Zuerst möchte ich anmerken, dass wir einen schönen und entspannten Urlaub hatten. Das Haus bietet wirklich ausreichend Platz 9 Personen. Es ist sehr hell, hat einen modernen Stil und eine tolle Aussicht auf Los Lobos und Lanzarote durch das großzügige Küchenfenster. Allerdings gibt es auch ein paar Kritikpunkte. Wie gesagt, keiner dieser Kritikpunkte hat uns den Urlaub verdorben, dennoch sollten sie erwähnt werden. Alles was uns aufgefallen ist haben wir gleich am ersten Tag dem Vermieter gemeldet. Es wurde auch prompt reagiert und wir wurden gut durch die Agentur betreut, allerdings wurde/konnte nicht alles repariert werden. - zwei Duschen der vier Bäder gingen nicht - Die elektrische Toreinfahrt funktionierte nicht - Der Gasherd war echt schwach und vor allem der stärkste Brenner hat leider gar nicht funktioniert. Den benötigt man allerdings, wenn man im Urlaub für eine größere Gruppe kocht. - Das WLAN viel aus, wurde aber sehr zeitnah wieder in Gang gebracht Unsere Bewertung wäre sicher ein Stern besser, wenn nicht durch die Bezeichnung "Luxus-Villa" die Erwartungen nicht sehr hoch gewesen wäre. Da wurde bei der Beschreibung etwas hoch gegriffen. Das Haus ist in einem guten Zustand, aber zur Luxus-Villa fehlen definitiv ein paar Dinge. Z.B. Deckenventilatotren oder Klimaanlage für Nächte in denen der typische Wind für Fuerteventura eben nicht ausreicht um etwas zu kühlen, vollständiges und einheitliches Geschirr (es ging alles irgendwie, aber es war halt Stückwerk und teilweise Plastikgeschirr), die Poolliegen waren teilweise defekt, keine Sitzkissen für die Gartenstühle (wo man im Sommer meistens isst), an machen Stellen blättert der Putz etwas ab (fällt aber nicht schlimm auf) und ein Zimmer hat keine Doppelbetten, sondern Stockbetten (was unbedingt in die Beschreibung sollt. Wir haben das erst bemerkt, als uns der Vermieter nach der Buchung einen Grundriß zugeschickt hat) Erwähnenswert ist sicher auch eine Katze, die quasi zu Inventar gehört. Kinder lieben die Katze "Tiggi" sicherlich. Manch einem Besucher könnte das Viecherl aber evtl. zu aufdringlich sein und jemand mit Katzenhaarallergie wird das sicher nicht gut finden. Unsere Kinder fanden die Katze toll - ich nicht (ich nannte daher Orang-Utan Klaus ;-) Das klingt jetzt vielleicht alles etwas pingelig, aber wie gesagt, es war für uns jetzt nichts Dramatisches dabei. Mit ein paar kleinen Investitionen könnte man das Potential der Villa sicher noch mehr nutzen.

Buenas tardes. Hemos pasado una semana en la Villa Cubas, donde hemos de decir que la atención de jacqulynn ha dejado mucho que desear, lo primero no acudió a recibirnos (que en primer lugar no le dimos mucha importancia). pero a medida que iban pasando los días ocurrieron una serie de acontecimientos donde lo más responsable es que hubiera dado la cara. En primer lugar, el día de la llegada lunes 21 de junio la terraza estaba muy sucia, mucha tierra y cagadas de palomas en las mesas y en las sillas, en las sillas del salón de color rosa había muchísimo pelo de gato, en este caso la llamamos y al día siguiente vinieron a limpiarlo, pero la villa en general no estaba nada limpia ni curiosa, los sillones tenían suciedad en todos los rincones. En esa misma llamada se le comenta que no había batidora como se especifica en el anuncio y que necesitábamos una, nunca se nos trajo dicho utensilio. En segundo lugar, el tercer día miércoles 30 de junio nos quedamos sin agua, cuando se lo comunicamos a jacqulynn su primera respuesta es que eso suele pasar mucho en esa zona y que no es un problema de ellos, que es un problema de la calle, y en lugar de acudir a ver qué ocurría con el aljibe porque no funcionaba nos intenta explicar vía WhatsApp como ponerlo a funcionar, cuando finalmente nosotros mismo lo ponemos a funcionar nos damos cuenta que le quedaba muy poco agua ( sólo dio para ducharnos un día) y además había un animal muerto en dicho aljibe, que finalmente resultó ser un lagarto, donde Jacqulynn nos responde vía WhatsApp (una vez más) que un lagarto no era tan grave como un ratón. En tercer lugar, al dejar la Villa nos llegan WhatsApp reclamando indebidamente la rotura de una silla, la cual ya estaba rota con anterioridad, lo que en ese momento no vimos preciso hacer foto, al igual que una de las ventanas de la parte superior de la vivienda, la cual ya estaba desencajada y también han querido culparnos de esa rotura. Es una pena que con el potencial que tiene la Villa se te arruinen unas vacaciones en familia por la mala gestión del personal que la lleva, ya que hemos de recalcar el servicio que presta Jacqulynn en cuanto al check-in, resolución de problemas, limpieza de la villa, o prestaciones de la villa en general concluiría que es nefasto.

We are sorry to see this review. The villa was cleaned and prepared for your arrival the day before. The dust you saw and any bird droppings were from those 24 hours since. When you called our agent about it she sent her housekeeping team back and cleaned the outside area once again for you. There is a blender at the property and we are sorry you were not able to locate it. When the local water company activity affected the water supply, we requested that the guest push the reset button (a simple instruction in our villa manual.) We also sent a water tanker from a private company over to the villa to rectify the situation. Regarding the lizard, an engineer was also sent to the property who drained, cleaned, sterilised and refilled the tank. Unfortunately the chair and window were not broken prior to your stay. We have also had to purchase new bedding. For our part, we were hugely disappointed at the poor state of the villa as it was left. We do ask our guests to leave rubbish in the local bins and not in the villa. It was however left in every room, on work surfaces and floors. In a non smoking villa - as stated in our conditions - there were cigarette ends left in the bedrooms, on the floor and dressing table. Finally we can confirm that Jacqulynn responded to all your messages.

Excellent séjour à Fuerteventura
La maison est très agréable à vivre, lumineuse et moderne. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié la vue depuis la maison et l'emplacement, au pied de chemin de randonnées. Je conseille vivement cette location. On y reviendra avec plaisir.
