There isn’t anyone at the reception so you have to knock on the door. They were kind enough to hold our luggage before check in. Amenities were lacking (toiletries, closet, clock, etc.). The gentleman at the desk was very kind and helpful. The location could not have been better. We could easily walk to the old city. The hotel was very close to Willy Brantz stop from the tram, so it was very easy to get from our hotel to the Frankfurt Au Main airport. The only thing that could have been better, were our mattresses. I booked a one night stay for a last minute business trip. It was tough to find a room due to the big soccer tournament in town. The front desk was on the 2nd floor. There's a sketchy elevator, but i didnt realize it until i carried my bags up 4 flights of stairs to get there. The front desk man (owner probably) was not very attentive. He blew off my request for help in getting a taxi. The room had no AC, but there was a window up high that was opened. There was a smell of cigarettes, as if someine was smoking in the next room. The walls were scuffed, there was a lot of dust on power cords and in the edges of the room. The toilet was hard to accewss around a tight foor. The shower door was broken, letting water spray out of the door.
