One of the great selling points is the excellent location, particularly for those interested in the fortress and the Albrecht Durer house. "This property was amazing! We had a very nice room and the location by the castle was perfect! The hotel is next to the castle walls and about three or four blocks from the castle entrance. For breakfast they served bacon, sausage, eggs, yogurt, fruit, sweet pastries, etc. We were very satisfied. The historic restaurant about one block away served excellent traditional German food. We really enjoyed our stay!"

A peaceful and relaxing stay

"A peaceful and relaxing stay close to nature – with easy access to Nuremberg We had a wonderful stay at Hotel NH Forsthaus Nürnberg, where comfort, nature, and great service came together perfectly. The hotel is peacefully located right next to the forest – ideal for walks or a morning run – yet just a short drive from the city center of Nuremberg. The rooms are spacious, clean, and modern, with comfortable beds and everything you need for a relaxing holiday. The breakfast buffet was excellent, offering fresh fruit, bread, eggs, and local specialties – and the staff was friendly and attentive throughout our stay. The pool and wellness area was a great bonus. It’s not huge, but it’s well-maintained and cozy – and after a day of sightseeing, the sauna was the perfect place to unwind. All in all, a really great hotel that we warmly recommend – especially if you want peace and nature around you, without being far from the city."
