"We had a lovely stay here. Stunning views from the cottage and was all very cosy and well-equipped. Great walks nearby and a pub within walking distance. We used the fire in the living room but it doesn't draw very well, so the room got very smoky (but might be my fire-making skills not being up to scratch!). Not the easiest to get to, especially if you have a large car. You'll need the directions, as it's really tucked away."

"The property was immaculate and well equipped. The host, Jane was extremely friendly and helpful. A quiet peaceful spot with chickens and sheep wondering around on the common land outside the enclosed garden. My only criticism is that the staircase was steep and difficult for me but it didn’t spoil our stay. I shall recommend to friends."

"Had an enjoyable short break at the Maple Lodge. Hosts were very friendly including the cats and dogs. Lodge was cozy, clean and had all the amenities you need. Bed was comfortable and slept well after all the walking and trekking. WiFi was intermittent and could probably do with a boost but it did not ruin our stay as we were out exploring the surrounding area most of the day. "The property owners were great and made sure our arrival was welcoming with great info and welcome pack. The property is a unique original cottage with hone comforts and incredible view. There are some great walks and lots of activities nearby and a visit to ye older ferrie inn is a must. "Accommodation exceeded our expectations. Extremely comfortable, particularly the bed! Very well equipped with quality furniture, fixtures & fittings; very well designed & considered. Lovely welcome touches including chilled wine, pls milk & fruit. If you like walking, there is a trail walk into Cirencester which takes about 20mins. All in all a very enjoyable stay, thank you. It is situated perfectly with great independent eateries and bars within a short walk. Parking is a little difficult and if there were some way of communicating exactly when a space would be free that would be more convenient. "Great hotel! Beautiful spa (free to hotel guests) and the pool lead out to great sun area with a beautiful pond and fountain in the background. Just a very nice area and nice grounds. The only reason I ding the service is coz I ordered lunch (sandwiches) and waited an hour. Now to be fair there a large wedding but even so……"
