"Hotel and rooms were super comfortable and warm. We greatly enjoyed the breakfast in the morning and hanging in the restaurant pub for a pint or dinner. It was a bit on the noisier side than other places we stayed but it was St. Patrick Day's weekend. All in all it was in a good location to quickly get to things - we got to the Blackless castle in about 15mins and to Glasgow for the afternoon in about 40mins. "Pleasant old style Inn with accommodation in separate building. The bedroom had very comfortable bed with fluffy pillows. The bathroom was a bit cramped and had a very noisy extractor fan. There was no provision to dry towels as radiator was off, I guess during summer months and a lamp was not working over the shower. We stayed two nights and enjoyed both evening meals which were very good. The noisy fan was mentioned to the staff. "
