Great place to spend a week, good links to town centre and local walks along promenade. Buffet and breakfast was excellent. Could improve communication on facilities, as staff could not supply English language text on the TV (remained in German due to IT problem).

One of the few places near Funchal where there is a beach. There are cafes too, and you can walk from there to Camera de Lodos along a raised promenade
