Good location on the water

Posted 25-Apr-2016
Pros: Location and atmosphere
Cons: update rooms and make more soundproof.
Location: Key West in 1/2 hour
We stayed in a queen room with no kitchen or fridge, which is ok if you dont want to make any food or drinks, we did get a foam cooler from Winn Dixie for $2.99 which once we got ice from the reception was good enough for keeping water, beers and bait cold. There is a fishing jetty if you want to fish and plenty of hammocks, chairs around the water along with the loungers around the pool. Its not luxury, but it is a good location, friendly staff, continental breakfast included and the beds are very comfortable.

Für eine Nacht eine super Unterkunft. Gute Lage, schöne Aussicht auf dem Grundstück. Unser Zimmer war nicht so gemütlich, daher habe ich da Abstriche gemacht.

Very nice.

Pros: Loved the location and peacefulness. So much nice than the hectic pace of many places in the Keys.
Cons: Our room was fine....nothing special but quite adequate. Water pressure in the shower was lacking.
Location: Although we loved the quiet and peacefulness of Palmers, there was nothing within walking distance. Wished restaurants were near.
The grounds were beautiful and spacious. Lots of places to sit and relax and enjoy the scenery. Very quiet and pleasant. The staff went above and beyond to make you comfortable and take you on a tour so you knew where everything was.

Pleasant surprise.

I was looking for some place close to Key West reasonably priced, and this place surpassed my expectations. Vastly superior to my previous two night stay at the Hyatt Regency in downtown Miami. Friendly hosts, wonderful views of the ocean, and a clean, comfortable room.

Quiet and friendly

Quiet, a little out of the way. Staff are super friendly. BBQ and hammocks all round for use. Beautiful view on the water. Although you can't swim there is a pool right beside the ocean. Everything was very clean and working as should be.

Quaint place to stay.

Pros: I liked the peace and quiet and great view of the sunrise.
Cons: Access to ice machine.
Location: It's only 30 minutes from Key West. There are restaurants that are very close - Kiki's and Boondockers. We enjoyed both for several meals.
Our stay was peaceful. We had a king size bed - small room - but adequate. Close enough to Key West (30 min.) but far enough away for a quiet night to sit by the water. Beautiful sunrise. Friendly staff. Wish ice machine were available 24/7. Overall it was a nice stay - have recommended it to my parents for their visit this summer.
