Perfect for what we needed

Posted 10-Feb-2016
Only stayed for one night but it was perfect for what we wanted. The room was small but we didn't need much space. The grounds were nice. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Nice but not worth the price.

Posted 03-Feb-2016
Pros: Location, location, location
Cons: Lower the prices, better walls and doors between units.
Location: Right on the water, down the street from a restaurant, however they have a deal where you get 10% off at a place down US-1.
I lived in Key West from '98 to '01 and I know all about "season", but I had business in Key West and didn't want to pay the $350.00 + a night for extra nights in town! the price wasn't the best, but for a last minute booking it was the best I could get, however, I believe that'll lowering the price to $150.00 a night would still be high. I realize it's "season" and all........and the goal is to keep the snowbirds from taking their money back home with them...... The property is large and nice, staff is very friendly, the room we had was nice, poolside with a view of the water. But it was the same weekend when the First blizzard of '16 hit the upper east coast...(anything north of I-10 is upper east coast for me.) all the snowbirds were strutting around in their sandals, shorts and t-shirts, while the natives were bundled up. The walls are thin and we could hear the neighbors TV and their conversations, the floors creak and sound thin also, I apologize to the folks below us for my heavy steps. It was a cozy little place that, if the price was lower, I could see bringing my kids to for a week or so. However, don't think that's going to happen anytime soon, and we will stick with the Vacation Rentals at NAS Key West. The continental breakfast was nice, I just felt out of place all bundled up while the snowbirds were crowing about how warm it was and how happy they were they didn't have to shovel any snow.

Pros: On the water and nice breakfast.
Cons: Price was a little high but so is every where else.
Location: The restaurant Boondock? Up on the road, was very good. Great food and service. Live music
Very nice only stayed one night. Right on the gulf.

An old-style place with all that you need. Quiet location 25 miles from Key West.

Room was small. Not even room for a chair. No place to hang anything.

Parmer's Resort was a nice surprise!

Posted 20-Jan-2016
Pros: It is unique and the staff was very friendly. The continental breakfast was a really nice extra!
Cons: An earlier check in time would be nice. 4pm is kind of late.
Location: There are not many attractions nearby. Key West is 30 miles south. This would be a relaxing quiet place to stay with maybe a couple day trips to KW.
We weren't sure what to expect based on other reviews but we were happily surprised! The resort has a variety of different types of accommodations. Our room was large, clean, comfortable & quiet. There was no view but other rooms have a view of the water. There was an awesome sunrise over the water out back! We hope to return someday. Check out Kiki's restaurant down the street for a great water view from the bar, good food and excellent friendly service!

Excellent Resort

Very nice and caring staff. Perfect location - Key West and Honda Park are 20 min away, and there is a local cozy restaurant / bar 5 min walking distance. Clean rooms. Strongly recommend.
