We used to drive over the "Blue Bridge" a few times a week as a kid on our way to see my Nan. It's has Grade 2 listed status, originally a double leaf rolling bridge but now a permanent road bridge over the River Dee. Photo taken from the North bank along the North Wales cycle path. You can also see Jupiter rising in the East! After this shot I decided to run onto the "beach" for a more travel-like selfie, but it's not sand... It's pure soft, sinking, stinking silt. I immediately decked it and covered myself in reeking silt and just about managed to get back up. Then only a few minutes later the tidal surge rushed through - counting myself very lucky!
