Four poster bed, creaking floor boards, higgledy-piggledy corridors, tranquil setting, great food, whats not to like. I spend around 40 nights away each year with work and it was so nice to be somewhere with character in the bucket loads and really good home made food, I loved it. WiFi was non existent in my room but good in the lounge, I was able to finish my book instead of working. Superb hosts to boot.

We were back again for another week in this home from home property. Its just great you have to understand that lots of people have been inhabiting this property. Maybe some dont treat it as they should. Keep up the standard and like us they will come back again.

Well appointed 2-bed property with comfortable furnishings, nice, modern decor which suits its location, a good bathroom and a well appointed kitchen perfect for cooking meals in.
Very short walk to the park ameneties (pool, shop etc) and a short walk to the dog-friendly beach for walks. Walkable to Filey along the beach but equally a very short drive and close to Bridlington as well makes this a perfect jumping-off spot for touring the Yorkshire coast.

We were not aware but we had booked the 'Romantic Package'- bottle of bubbly waiting for us and a box of chocolates, a lovely surprise. Delightful room with 4 poster bed. Ate in the evening, extensive menu and excellent food. Good breakfast and Buck's Fizz came with our package. Excellent service from everyone, good value for money. Very popular with locals so advisable to book a table if you want to eat there.

I chose this hotel as I fancied a change from the B&B's I usually stop in when in the area. What a great choice that was the Staff were really nice and very helpful, the room was very clean and well furnished the food in the Bar area was really good. Wifi was fast as I had work to do. The TV had movies available to watch as this was a smart TV.
Well Done Mayfield. Excellent place and I would stop again without any question.

Our host, Rebecca, is obviously passionate about the guest experience. The Cordelia is a magnificent period property full of charm and warmth. The room was amazing - being roomy and well presented with period furniture, quality bedding and towels. The breakfast was probably the best we've had, made with top quality ingredients. It took us a whole day of walking to work it off! Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Very welcoming, we had booked a small room with sea view but were upgraded to a large room. Everying was spot on with two comfortable chairs in a large bay window allowing us to sit and take in an absolutely superb panoramic view of the South Bay and headland. The bed was extremely comfortable, the breakfast superb with an excellent choice and the staff very friendly. I really am struggling to find anything to to complain about, however trivial! Would thoroughly recommend.

Stayed here several times.
The hotel is excellent, the staff are amazing, the food is so gorgeous - just too much of it !
The rooms (and we have several different ones) are warm, inviting and immaculate.
All have TVs and tea making facilites with an ample choice of tea, coffee, hot chocolate, all are en-suite and the bathrooms
are spotless along with a good supply of towels and comp toiletries.
Plenty of car parking space
The only downside to this place is time passes too quickly...

We stayed in Adelphi cottage for two nights as we were attending a wedding just outside the village. My daughter of 10 years absolutely loved it as so did I, it was like home from home, very clean and spacious with fantastic decor the beds were very comfy and the linen was of very good quality. We would definitely stay there again or recommend this facility to anyone. A fabulous find.
