"All worked perfectly with the handover. The instructions are very good for finding the house as GPS can be unreliable up there. It is way off the beaten track and very isolated. The road is bumpy but you do not need an SUV. The accommodation is very nice and we wanted for nothing as we brought up everything. The owner left some treats for us. "Breakfast was superb, nothing was too much trouble. Disturbed on some nights, noise and shouting from other parts of the Farmhouse!! Close to Alnwick. Also my wife was allergic to the family cat 🐈‍⬛ "

"This was our second visit to Charlton Hall and this time stayed in The Tempus. It didn’t disappoint. Everything is well thought out, the rooms are comfortable and spacious. The entire hotel is beautifully decorated. We ate in the Orangery a couple of times, both of which were delicious. The staff are attentive and courteous. What’s not to love! We will return! "

"Great communication from the property owner from the start. What a lovely house.. lots of space for us all (6 adults and one teen) - we particularly enjoyed the open fire in the sitting room as it was pretty chilly during our stay. The kitchen was well stocked with equipment and the extra fridge / freezer was perfect as we were cooking here on Christmas Day! A slight hiccup with the heating before arrival but the property owner was in contact immediately and did everything possible to rectify...
