"The lodge was good, breakfast was nice, and the staff were friendly. The only downside was the entrance, straight off the A1. No slip road made it difficult to slow down enough to get in without missing the entrance which I did the first night and had to go up to the next road to turn around and try again, plus it’s terrible try to cross over the A1. "

We stayed in the chesterfield suite and the room was immaculate and cozy. They provided chocolate and strawberries as we were celebrating a big birthday which was a lovely surprise on arrival.
