Wonderful greeting upon a very late arrival. Rooms are wonderful. Electric hookup very convenient.

The room was spotless beautifully furnished. We had endless tea, coffee milk and biscuits. The staff could not have been more helpful nothing was too much trouble The restaurant and bar was clean and very comfortable. The food was fabulous, well prepared. Added to all this you have a very large car park Would recommend this hotel and give it 10/10.

I stay here regularly for work, alway very good. Staff are incredibly nice and work hard to make the stay comfortable. Rooms are always clean characterful and comfortable. food is great. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic stay in the cottage - immaculately presented room with loads of space and a very nice selection of snacks. The staff in the Inn were incredibly welcoming and made for a totally relaxed break. Food at dinner and breakfast was delicious. Cannot recommend highly enough

Love this place. The village is beautiful and full of Cotswolds charm, whilst the pub is an absolute delight for foodies. Tremendous value given the quality of the accommodation and the food. Our room was luxurious and spacious. Loved the 100 Acres toiletries, the farmhouse-style breakfast and the super-comfortable bed. This is a great base from which to explore the Cotswolds.

We had a fantastic time at the Lords of the Manor, it really is an exceptional hotel. A very relaxed atmosphere and the staff make you feel at home as soon as you walk in. They were especially accommodating with our dog who stayed with us. The hotel gardens are huge and we’re a lot bigger than we thought, stretching down to the river. It’s a great place to explore the Cotswolds.

This rambling old place has a lot of character, and some eccentricities. I have stayed here several times and never had a reason to complain. I am an elderly woman travelling alone and would not keep coming back if my rooms were not clean and very comfortable. The staff are always friendly and most helpful. There is only limited parking but as yet I've had no problem - I understand that there is a public car park nearby, and also roadside parking is not difficult. A glass of wine beside the open...

We were attending a parents event at one of the colleges on Saturday morning, so decided to treat ourselves to a night at The Old Bank Hotel the night before to allow for dinner and a more leisurely start in the morning. Anniversary weekend. Very nice hotel with character and good service - just what we were looking for. The room was super, the hotel serve fantastic afternoon tea and we loved the quiet library and the little sun-trap on the library terrace. Would have liked fluffy bathrobes, but can't think of anything else to improve. Be warned: - The bed was hard (which we like/prefer) but large and comfortable. Absolutely lovely stay at The Royal oak. Beautifully decorated throughout, with a really warm and homely feel. Staff were welcoming, dinner and breakfast were first-class and my room was spotlessly clean with a great bathroom and comfy bed. Would definitely return, I stayed for work but it would be a lovely place for a weekend away.

Stayed for 1 night in this lovely hotel. Room was very clean and had all the amenities needed. Staff were very friendly and always on hand to help. Food was excellent both in the restaurant and breakfast. The hotel is set in a beautiful location with lovely walks on your doorstep. We will definitely return

Lovely dog friendly pub with rooms. Dog walk from car park into field behind. Very friendly staff and delicious food. Very clean, fresh bed linen. Great stop off. Would definitely recommend and will visit again.
