"Whilst the ManorHouse would sleep the number advertised, and certainly has enough crockery and cooking equipment to manage comfortably, we found the whole place to be cramped. Most bedrooms had one or more bed than was comfortable, there actually isn’t enough sofa space for everyone, and the dining table is difficult to use due to being so close to the wall, with no space to move it out. "The hotel makes a spectacular first impression, inside and out. The façade, entrance lobby, beautiful staircase and high ceilings are stunning and we were very impressed. Every member of staff we interacted with, day and night, was genuinely friendly and polite. In particular, we received a lovely enthusiastic warm welcome when we checked in on Monday afternoon. The room was perfectly clean, and had plenty of helpful features like space to hang clothes, easily accessible plug sockets and a fabulous bed. The bathroom was spotlessly clean too and had all sorts of lovely-smelling toiletries. We liked the provision of coffee-bags rather than instant coffee. They tasted great! The view from our room looked out across the top of the porch of the hotel, and this did look a little bit weather-beaten and had some untidy-looking wiring for lighting the hotel front. If this could be tidied up a little, it would be great, as there is a wonderful view beyond it, of a pretty park full of trees and flowers. Overall, this was a spectacularly beautiful hotel to stay in and the staff were wonderful."
