Lovely hotel within its own grounds, on arrival l was made very welcome by staff. My room was big with all the amenities to hand and spotless. Breakfast was excellent with a wide choice on the menu to choose from. My all round opinion of the hotel is excellent.

Hotel room and location was perfect. Really nice breakfast area overlooking a garden. Only downside was my requests for a crib was twice ignored and even then I got a broken crib

Picked this hotel so I didn’t have to stay in a chain hotel in Wigan. The hotel is in a lovely quiet part of Wigan, great open, real fire in the lobby. Rooms are good, spacious if a little dated. Bed was really comfortable and the coffee machine a plus.

We have just enjoyed a lovely stay. Room 101 was spacious and comfortable, with splendid views from the big bay window. We were due to dine out but when we saw the menu for the restaurant, Coast, we chose to eat in, an excellent decision because our dinner was delicious! Cooked breakfast also good - plentiful, hot and tasty. Table service which is so much nicer than the breakfast buffets hotels tend to lay on these days. The staff were all friendly and professional. What a find ! This hotel was one of the best we have stayed at . The welcome was warm and friendly , nothing was too much trouble . Our breakfast was delicious and we loved how different times were available. The hotel offered an earlier check in time than many others and check out is 12 o clock which means on a weekend away you can manage a lie in and a long leisurely breakfast which was just what we needed . Thank you so much , we would definitely recommend you and will come back again some...
