The room was clean and nicely renovated. Outside doesn't give the same nice vibe. Quiet at night. The bed is the foam kind, so feels like sink into hole. Not to my liking, but others may like that style of bed. Overall satisfied with the stay."

"I really enjoyed staying at the property. The staff was excellent. We really enjoyed the lounge area where there were several games to play, snacks, drinks, music streaming. They have a lovely fire pit and outdoor seating areas. An outdoor movie/sauna area, pool, hammocks, pickleball court and ping pong table. The property is surrounded by forest with trails. I will definitely stay at the property again if I find myself in the area. The only con was the driveway/road between the street, buildings, and other areas of the property. Due to the roots of the trees, the blacktop/rock road surface and outdoor seating areas are difficult to maneuver for individuals that are wheelchair bound or those who have difficulty walking. I do not suggest you avoid the property due to this, just that you are aware and are prepared."

Despite being on a major roadway and it was a busy holiday weekend, the other tenants were quiet, road noise was minimal. The parking lot is a bit cramped but it’s a smaller lodge so to be expected. The staff were so considerate and helpful. Their recommendation for the Thai place around the corner was spot on. Delicious! Would definitely recommend The Lodge as a reasonably priced comfortable place to spend the weekend"
