It is within walking distance to the historic downtown for shops and restaurants. I loved I could walk to a Brews for coffee, breakfast or an evening beer. Not elegant, but adequate. Referring to the photograph my rental was a basement unit located down a set of outside stairs on the left side of the building. There's a semi secluded furnished patio surrounded by trees and your unit enter through french doors. Industrial type decorating inside with a polished concrete floor. The room is large, sparsely furnished but with all the amenities you'd need. My only gripe is there is \*nowhere\* to set your luggage or hang up any clothing, not a single hook. But if you're planning to spend your days and evenings enjoying the town and surrounding area there is no reason to pay $$$ just for sleeping.
