"Lovely hotel, right next to the entrance to Alnwick Castle. The hotel itself is lovely, with helpful and friendly staff, lovely rooms (exactly as described on their website), nice relaxing bar. the perfect place for a weekend getaway. We were there for two nights and decided to eat in the restaurant on our second evening. The food was delicious. My wife and I shared the Chateaubriand and it was cooked perfectly. The breakfast the next morning was also fantastic, with a great choice. The Kipper Hash was a particular favourite of mine. We will definitely go back as there are lots of lovely places to explore in the local area"

"Lovely welcome fabulous staff , the hotel is in an excellent position near the beach and some thank you for a fabulous stay lovely restaurants and coffee shops near by . The bathroom was huge ,with lovely white towels and the rooms we’re spotless , some of the decor is a dated but you can see they are upgrading it bit by bit . The breakfast was delicious quality bacon and sausage, we will definitely stay there again thank the Windsor Hotel 😊😊😊"

"Arrived very late from a delayed flight at Newcastle Airport (3.30am). This was no problem for check in and the person on the desk was so lovely and cheery considering the time. Gave us help with parking the car and then got straight up to the room. Big room, very clean and a super comfy bed and pillows. Slept very well in the room despite people coming and going. Didn’t hear too much. We opted for the breakfast for convenience when we booked. Breakfast was great. Lots of choice and GF options. Coffee machine and cooked breakfast all good. We would recommend and come back. Thanks so much! "
