"The hotel was beautiful. Very good sound proofing between rooms. The pools appeared clean, and the staff was friendly and helpful. We chose the all-inclusive option, which was a good value, but the food was marginal. There were several options at each meal which was nice, but there wasn't anything at all that I would describe as "delicious." Many items seemed "cheap." For example, the orange juice didn't taste like orange juice, it tasted like orange drink. It seemed like it was just orange flavored. Some of the ice cream flavors, tasted like the "store brands" or "no-name brands," so they were okay but I wouldn't describe them as good. Several of the deserts seemed like they came out of a plastic wrapper like the type that have a 5-year shelf life. Most of the food was good enough, just not great. The only other downside for me was that the cafeteria was almost entirely self-serve, and I didn't see a single hand sanitizer stand/station anywhere. It freaked me out a bit since hundreds of people were touching the serving utensils and there was nowhere to sanitize my hands after also touching them. Also, there were loaves of French bread and baguettes offered, and I saw one woman just grab the loaf with her bare hand, cut off a chunk and leave the rest."

"We had a really lovely stay in the villa. The gardens and pool area are gorgeous and the surrounding area is very peaceful. The villa had all the facilities and equipment you’d need and overall I’d really recommend it as somewhere to stay on the island (particularly if you have a car as it’s a great base to explore from)."
