"Second time I have stayed here. Really nice room, waking distance from all the town centre bars and restaurants. Breakfast good, as is the downstairs bar."

"The reception/bar areas were good, my room, a premium double was not what I was expecting very basic, bit scruffy, the usual 4 tiny pots of uht milk, when you need 3 for one drink, most 4starred hotels provide a small fridge in the rooms but not this one. Didn’t have breakfast, £15, didn’t look worth it, also bar very expensive. Nearly £10 to park the car, won’t be back"

"Stayed over for a wedding at the hotel and received a warm welcome and although we were 2 hours early, our room was ready in 15 minutes and was spacious, clean and comfortable. Staff very polite and attentive, food at the wedding was great and the spa was a welcome finish to the weekend. Really good facilities all round. Would stay again"

"A good looking Hotel from the outside, the food in the restaurant smelled great as you climb the steps to the door. (There is a disabled lift around the side somewhere) Self check in with help available, parking fee arranged at this point, I had missed this on the website, it was £7.50 a night, not over the top but a surprise for me. Room is a bit dated, only two sockets on the desk and no USB sockets anywhere. Comfy bed, plenty of space in the room and good shower pressure! Now the downside, no Air-Con - this is mentioned on the web, but I happened to be there during the hottest June in forever! There was a Dyson fan... that was very weak with no controls apart from speed. At level 10 it did not reach the bed. I asked for a replacement but there are no spare fans. Shame as this is the only bad point I had, and the weather is not the hotels fault. Bar staff helpful, Breakfast from 6.30 till 10 was tasty with a fair selection, several different breads and I do love a china teapot! Self checkout, again with help available. Overall I would stay again, but on a much cooler day!"

"Lovely big clean room bar the smell of fresh paint as you walked in and the bathroom door sticking. All the staff were lovely though and plenty of parking spaces plus a a good choice of hot and cold food at breakfast. Lots of other eateries if you so wished within a 2 to 5 minute radius too and the Aston Moss tram stop which will get you to Co-op Live Arena / The Etihad stadium and beyond about a 10 minite walk away."
