Ash was an absolutely fantastic host and provided generously for all our needs! We had a glitch with our original booking, but Ash moved us to another, bigger property. The location was slightly further from the Royal Mile than this particular listing, but still fantastic. This 3br apt close to the Royal Mile is in an absolutely fantastic spot, and you will be able to walk to all the greatest points you'd like to see. We would stay at any of his places again and wish we could have stayed at his property for longer!
Great location for exploring old and new town Edinburgh! Kash was very helpful and went above and beyond to help us with arranging parking, luggage, information on nearby must sees etc.
The location to the Royal mile is great. The apartment was clean and the kitchen was well equipped. The apartment is on the top floor and it's 67 stairs to the apartment from the street entry front door and the elevator doesn't work. We had a WiFi issue and once the owner was notified he came over and fixed the problem. All in all it was a very good stay in a clean apartment with a great location.
We chose this flat because it is a block off the Royal Mile. We could walk to Edinburgh Castle, Victoria Street, Holyrood Palace, and the Prince Street tram stop. We wanted to be right in the middle of Old Town, so it was a perfect spot for our family. Kash is easy to reach and extremely helpful. The only complaint I heard from my family was about the WiFi. A few in our party didn’t have the data to use and needed WiFi. It was spotty. I didn’t care about that at all.Overall, we had all we needed and were comfortable. I would definitely stay here again!
We had a wonderful time at this well appointed and spacious flat just steps away from the Royal Mile. I visited with three work colleagues, and we all felt very fortunate to be in this apartment in a very well located neighborhood. The flat was well taken care of, clean, and the host was very communicative and responsive. It's also near great restaurants, bars, shopping, and even the fun Monkey Barrel Comedy Club. There are a few flights of stairs to climb to the apartment but that's well worth the bit of effort! The kitchen and nearby markets are really handy too! Great coffee and pastry shops around the corner as well. What a wonderful visit, thanks to this prime spot and the care of the owner! Grateful!
This place was absolutely perfect for us. We recently stayed there as a family of five for two weeks. Everybody had their own bedroom and it was nice during downtime to be able to get a second to yourself.I apparently didn’t pay close attention to the fact that it is on the upper floor so there were a ton of stairs up and down every day (3 flights on one side, 4 flights on the other). As somebody with a severely broken knee this was not ideal but everything else about the place outweighed that part. The apartment is accessible by two different streets and this was really helpful, depending on where we were headed. It was clean, decently stocked, and had a washer and dryer. This helped us to be able to cut the amount of clothing we packed. Because it does stretch from one side of the building to another we were able to open windows in the living room and bedrooms and had a great breeze. Plus there were fans already there for our use.There is only one bathroom, but this was never an issue for us. It is a decently-sized bathroom with a full tub/shower combo.The location was the greatest feature of the apartment. It is just off the Royal Mile so it seemed like we were mere minutes from everywhere. The convenience factor alone made our entire trip much easier and much more enjoyable. A lot of the stuff we had pre-booked was well within walkable distance for all of us.Kash was great at answering questions and checking in to make sure our stay was wonderful too!
