Lovely room above a quiet pub. Serves tremendous food. Owner is lovely and will do his best to make your stay a special one. Nice touches like the tray of home made biscuits and fresh milk for the morning tea/coffee. Espresso machine in the room was great. Nice for a short break and not far from the M5 or the cotswolds

Bed was very comfortable and the breakfast lovely.

Marvellous! We had a magnificent stay in this cosy hotel with outstanding food. All staff is excellent, but the chef deserves an extra medal for producing such delicious meals. We're recommending this little hide away to all of our friends and everyone who wants to know.

Great location opposite the beautiful St May's church. Large room with comfortable bed. Good restaurant for evening meals and breakfast.

Wow! What an amazing two days. We stayed in the King Henry VIII Suite, which was such a fantastic experience. The restaurant meals were superb and all the staff were friendly and helpful.

Beautiful property with a cosy vibe and welcoming staff. The dinning experinace was very slow sadly.

Excellent scenic location next to the river. Amazing breakfast choices. Evening meals were always very good and sometimes exceptional. We would definitely recommend this hotel and would hope to return.

Very busy weekend but beautiful hotel and great food

Super large refurbished room. Other rooms are currently being refurbished but this was not intrusive. Plenty of parking and excellent WiFi. Breakfast excellent. Restaurant at hotel but also plenty within walking distance.

I don't normally use superlatives but for this place I am prepared to make an exception. We stayed for two nights and from start to finish it was an excellent experience. The welcome was warm. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The place was spotless - both the room and the common areas.The food was superb, the menu creative and the table service friendly and timely without being intrusive. Portion size was good too. Lovely dog friendly pub with rooms. Dog walk from car park into field behind. Very friendly staff and delicious food. Very clean, fresh bed linen. Great stop off. Would definitely recommend and will visit again.

We had a fantastic stay, by far the cleanest hotel & room we have stayed in - (& that’s quite a lot!). Excellent food & lovely, helpful staff, Nicole particularly gave top notch service. Very vegan friendly which is hugely appreciated! Gorgeous hotel & decor. Our cosy room was perfect, not really that small either! Highly recommend the afternoon tea - we will be back!
