"Service was excellent & food was excellent. Atmosphere was nice to (relaxed and no stress at all). The bar area was lovely to, cocktails were on the expensive side so gave them a miss. Decor was clean and everything worked but it did look a little dated and scents in things like carpets, doors and in particular the pool area could do with a refresh. However we had a great stay, thoroughly enjoyed and would definitely recommend."

"We absolutely loved it here. My mum has cancer and we wanted to spend some quality time with her. The staff did not know she was poorly but their care and energy to try to help us with any request was always carried out with enthusiasm. We had a family room, a double bed and two singles. The room was very clean and just as one would expect. We had a fantastic sea view and 3 chairs in the room. We asked for a small table so we could put our teas and coffee which they provided in the room in front of us as we looked at the sea. They got us a table. Great it was the reason we booked a sea view as mum loves the sea and wanted to sit and look at it. My sister and I went for a swim while mum had a sleep. We asked for a restaurant nearby we could go to and we were given information with a smile. As the hotel was busy in the dining room we asked if we could have breakfast in the bar. Again this was no trouble and when we came down in the morning our table was laid. We asked for some water in jugs for the evening and some ice. Again they were brilliant. The staff were fabulous, polite, courteous and kind. Not once did we feel anything was too much. We asked for extra toilet roll and some more tea, again it arrived with a smile. Such kindness from everyone. I would definitely recommend this hotel. I would love to go back again sometime. Mum loved her time here thank you to you all for making my mum's visit so memorable. "

"We had a fantastic time at Citrus Hotel in Eastbourne and all the staff made our honeymoon memorable. Thank you so, so much! When we arrived, we were welcomed by the wonderful hotel manager, Mrs Rika Robertson, who was really kind and friendly and gave us a beautiful room with sea view. Also, we loved our breakfast which was delicious and varied. The stars of the show in the restaurant were Nancy, George and Kirsty- they gave us the best customer service and were very attentive. You all spoilt us rotten during our stay at Citrus Hotel and we're really grateful. Thank you everyone! We cannot wait to go back! "
