Reasonable hotel close for Brighton. Our room was noisy from lift shaft & doors etc but clean and functional. Bed too soft & springy indeed, but still slept. Staff very polite.
We were visiting a local vineyard for a tour and decided to stay over too. The hotel had pre-warned us that a wedding would be taking place on that night and that it might be noisy. We really appreciated the heads up. Reception gave us lots of suggestions for where we could go out to eat for the ...
The hotel is very lovely, the staff were great, breakfast was excellent. Our room was very sweet, the bathroom was a bit on the small side but it did not detract from our stay, which was only one night. Lovely cosy bar for a drink before or after your evening out. Would stay here again.
They deliver on their byline of "nice beds, crisp linen, great breakfast". Welcoming atmosphere with friendly staff. It's a pub with rooms - well-run and quiet. Breakfast until 11 was a real bonus - good choice, quality ingredients and someone who knows how to poach eggs properly! It takes thought ...
arrived by train to a small country train station, which was closed (a holiday day?) with no public phone with which to call for a taxi. Nice local couple gave us a lift to hotel! (we had no cellphone) Regal old Manor turned into hotel so need to ask for help with luggage up the stairs (no elevator) ...
If you have recently gotten engaged and are planning your big day, there is a range of wedding hotels in Eastbourne where you can either hold your wedding ceremony, have your reception or - in many cases - both. You could be planning a small, intimate affair with just immediate family and friends, or a huge, elaborate event. Either way, there are wedding hotels in the region that will help you have your perfect day.
It may sound obvious, but one of the first things you need to consider is where you want to get married and in what style. Do you want a wedding hotel by the sea and photographs on the beach? Or do you want a sprawling country park hotel with gorgeous gardens? Do you want old-fashioned grandeur or contemporary chic? East Sussex has wedding hotels that can cater for all of these choices, giving you some great options for your big day.
Another consideration is where your guests will stay. While some may live locally, it's likely that many will not so you need to think about whether your chosen wedding hotel has enough rooms for your guests. If not, you could advise your invitees of other hotels in the area. There are plenty of hotels East Sussex who will be happy to accommodate large parties, no matter how big or small the budget.
A lot of wedding hotels now have rooms where you're wedding ceremony can be held so you can look at having your entire day in the one place. If you want your ceremony in a different venue, the wedding hotel will offer facilities for your reception.
Many wedding hotels have experienced wedding planners on hand to help you organise your big day, including details such as the reception drinks, evening entertainment and the logistics of the day itself, right down to the flowers and parking arrangements.
Planning your wedding can be a daunting task but choosing a fantastic wedding hotel in East Sussex is not. Once you've chosen your venue, you'll have all the help you need to make sure your day runs perfectly.
